Bridges in China: history, culture and moderization

I agree with you. The ancient bridges are more beautiful. They are embedded in our ancient culture. They are unique in the world. However, they could not been built over the big rivers.China has the most diverted terrains with huge mountains and rivers. We need and will build more modern bridges to improve our transportation.

The old bridges are infinitely more beautiful.

You could just walk over and contemplate the people who walked the bridge, their lives and how they stood where you now stand.
