You are underestimating China's political power. China will think of one hundred ways to kick India out of BRICS.

BD won't be worse than Argentina which is literally bankrupt. So maybe in future BD will have that chance. However if BD tries to get too close to west/US, I don't think it will improve their chances much. India was one of the founding members, hence it had the chance to be closer to west and also be part of the group. Going forward I don't think it would be possible for new members.

I hope so. I would say the only pro-west country in the (expanded) BRICS is India. So, going forward I think the political and ideological trajectory of the country will play a very important role.

China, Russia and India know well that BD will become a liability on them in terms of wealth. BD has little resources and it’s foreign liabilities are already near $100 billion that is rising fast.

I really wonder what contribution can BD make.

Please do not think world bodies are run by a country like BD that has no system and whose Chief Executive is another Hasina.

I don't understand why China is not kicking India out of SCO & BRICS.

Very sad to see China not pushing BD's case.

Ethiopia was inducted to balance out Egypt.

Iran was inducted to balance out KSA & UAE

Argentina was inducted to balance out Brazil.

So why was Bangladesh not inducted to balance out India?

BRICS thought BD needs some more time to wash away the old Pakistani stains from it. Once the handful of Pak supporters in BD wither away then they will be considered.
