WASHINGTON — Ehud Barak, the former Israeli leader known for his hawkish views on Iran, said it would be a “mistake” for President Trump to decertify the Iran nuclear deal, both because it would play to Iran’s advantage and because it would scuttle any hope of a negotiation with North Korea.

Mr. Barak, a decorated soldier who was prime minister and defense minister, is the latest and most prominent Israeli to urge Mr. Trump not to disavow the deal — a step the president is expected to take when he announces his broader strategy for dealing with Iran later this week.

“Even if America decides to pull out of it,” Mr. Barak said in an interview on Tuesday, “no one will join — not the Chinese, not the Russians, not even the Europeans. It will serve the Iranians.”

Iran, he pointed out, is complying with the terms of the agreement. It will “continue to harvest” the economic benefits of the deal. But if Mr. Trump disavowed it, that would give the Iranians a pretext for resuming their drive toward a nuclear “breakout” capability, particularly in the latter years of the agreement, when the economic benefits are outweighed by Iran’s desire to join the club of nuclear states.

Actually it's not Obama deal that Trump administration wanna scrap but an UNSC resolution which the USA is a permanent member of it. What the US administration is doing right now just proves Iran stance in past 4 decades.
And shows Iran without nuke is enough powerful to make the US to go nuts, now think of an Iran nuclear armed.
And since the deal Iran's continued R&D and worked on new centrifuges, previous ones had 1 SWU enrichment capcity now new ones have 24 SWU.
Thanks to Donald J Trump if he gets out we go full nuke he doesn't walk away we continue our missile program without sanction and within 8 years we would have a full industrial nuclear program.
And those whom celebrated in the Tehran streets now realized that the US ain't trustworthy. good for IRI.

US sanctions are so destructive because they target companies trading with the sanctioned country. That means if a EuroCompany is still trading with Iran when the sanctions are on, they cannot trade with America. Obviously no company will choose the Iran over America, so Europe will be forced to follow the sanctions without formally implementing them.

In Israel there are many opinions. Barak, however, can shove his opinion into his own arse, he has lost every possible elections since 1999 and eventually retired from politics. Netanyahu, who easily won the elections in 2009, 2013, 2015, and can easily win again, gave Israel's blessing to Trump's speech against Iran.
