BREAKING! Something serious happening in kashmir

Pakistani sponsored

That's not really an answer, the separatists are there simply because Pakistan "sponsors" them? You could have said money, or that they are originally from Pakistan, but you went with that because you know any other answers in favor of the extreme indian narrative as outlined above wont make sense (i.e. money for what? They live in terror and hide, what will they do with money).

They don't have, people don't want to work so to pass the time they come on street. Even when Modi went there were so many of them welcoming him.

What!? So, people don't have work or want to work, and have too much free time so they come out on the street just randomly pelting stones, or to show support in rallies for freedom. Again, are you thinking?
Like... just a few thousand or hundreds out and about pelting stones and going to rallies because they obviously want to pass some free time... It is as crazy as it sounds.
Also...
Can I see pictures of that crowd which came for Modi, because all I saw was Modi waving to empty air and the silent blue sea in the film
Oh, and if people don't support them then please do explain why thousands, in the 5 figures, show up to their funerals and support.
Then explain, why so many of Indian tourists clearly have outlined in their accounts that people of Kashmir are discontent with India and its Army due to suppression of their right to self determination.

Only few radicalized by Pak sponsored terrorism through Hurriyat, rest of them and in thousands joined armed forces or paramilitary.

Thousands!? What are you smoking. In the most recent yearly passing, only like 6 had joined the Army, and that was considered a huge success by India.
And in a news story, when one of the very few Kashmiri in the Army had died, not even the neighbours came for the funeral.

It lies in Indian leadership, till now they were doing politics over Kashmir issue, the real solution has began!

Time will tell, but I don't see how forcing stuff down one's throat is a solution.

Some radicalized youth blows a convoy and you say that it's India showing true colours? How insane can it go.

Kindly increase your comprehension skills, India heavily discriminated against Kashmiri people throughout the country, both systematically and individually, resonating via the state machinery and the common extremist Hindus, with no condemnation from Indian leaders, infact with calls from politicians and ministers to boycott Kashmir. That's what I am talking about, that's India showing its true colors; that India is greedy for land but don't give two hoots about the Kashmiri people.

This people is what a delusional Indian, who also browses TOI (Times of India), looks like.

.
*Todays orders!!*

(1: Oil companies have been directed to be ready round the clock operation with limited quota for people and rest it for Army.)

(2: Another order-
In view of the prevailing situation, it is impressed upon all the CMO’s to collect the available supplies of drugs, medicines & other allied items from the Regional drug ware, GMC Bemina #Srinagar just tomorrow positively in the interest of patients care)

(3: Food Department officers are being directed to ensure sale of foodgrains by today evening.)
So, what is new in that? Let them get ready. Aren't we already prepared to give a bloody welcome to them if they dare crossing the LoC? I think they should be more worried about getting liquor than anything else. Without liquor, Indian soldiers shoot themselves.

.
The discrimination wasn't always there. That came later, when a few of them started openly working against India. You don't expect us to be cordial towards those who wish harm on your country, would you?

Not few, many.
Not working against India, but working for Kashmir.
Mind you, Kashmir belongs to the Kashmiri people, not to the Indian people.

India made them a promise, a promise of the granting of their right to self determination, through the very words of Nehru and the desire of Gandhi.

This promise hasn't been fulfilled, and this right has been suppressed. So, naturally, not few, many of them felt compelled to pick up arms to get what belongs to them. So, it was India which began the injustice, not them.

.
Religious people spreading violence, as expected. These people haven't yet seen the wrath of the state.
Anyhow, in another couple of decades, they will secularise and stop crying.

Individual Indians are the largest investment group in Africa mate.. Don;t think any generalization will apply that flat and that too to a 1.3Bn people country
but i tell. ordinary people will not take risk.. you never know what will happen.. investors don’t do that..

Lets ask the real questions here.

Why are the separatists there to begin with?
Why do the separatists have such large public support.
Why is the youth joining the armed separatists movements?

If you answer each truthfully, you will understand where the core of the problem lies.

In case you can't crack the code. The recent events are also a witness to that, India has shown its true colors in the recent discrimination wave, they are thirsty for the land and its resources, and don't give two hoots about its people and their demand for right to self determination. That's where the problem lies.

Good post.

Somehow deluded Indians draw parallels between Indian-held Kashmir and Baluchistan. What a non-sense position! Go to Quetta--not far from the Indian agents in Afghanistan and then compare with Srinagar. Both are capitals of their respective State/Province but the contrast couldn't be more.

Fact is that there was always a festering sore in the Indian-held Kashmir since 1947. India more and less managed it until Indians screwed up by bungling up the electoral process in the IOK in 1989; the sore turned to a cancer. Then came 9/11 and, thanks to stupid $ucks like Bin Laden, legit causes like those of the Palestinians and the Kashmiris became tainted in global eyes. Both Indians and Israelis were joyous because of 9/11. So India got a break: Even Musharraf--an India-hawk in Pakistan-- decided to accept LoC=IB under the Musharraf-Manmohan compromise. For that Musharraf became a hated target inside Pakistan and suicide-bombing attempts were made against him. Kashmir calmed down a bit then.

But Indian greed and stupidity has re-ignited Kashmir. For that it is India is to be blamed and understandably so because, unlike for Pakistanis, Kashmir--at least is Muslim parts--are just a prized real estate for India.

If we're talking about which land belongs to whom, the subcontinent might have to be reshuffled. You cannot cherry-pick a race, creed or religion, point to a particular century, millennia or aeon and claim this land belongs to that person cause he was there x amount of time. It does not work like that in the real world. But that a topic for another day.

When it comes to Kashmir, there is more at play than the Kashmiri people. For better or worse, both Pakistan and India have a stake at it too. So when you say Kashmir is only for Kashmiris, it's not true when you consider the implications.

We made a promise back then. You could say we made that promise with different people, not the Kashmiris of today. Things changed after that. Pakistan and India happened and Kashmir got stuck in the middle. We cannot pretend that we're back in 1947 and hold a referendum.

- It's pretty simple. Kashmiri are the ethnic people of that land, what is there to dispute in that?

- Both countries have stake, literally... but the right to decide what happens with that land should ultimately lie with the ethnic and majority people of that land.

- That's just felony and nothing but figurative words; that the Kashmiri's of then are not the Kashmiri's of today. Well, yes, because you supressed their rights from the very start. You people are at fault for not holding the referendum at that point, and you people are at fault alone for what is has come today of that situation. Accept it, and hold a dialogue to settle it.

- I think when both countries have a stake in Kashmir, when what happens to Kashmir can have far reaching consequences, then it's not just up to Kashmiris alone to decide. What happens to Kashmir will directly affect about 2 billion people. We cannot throw away billions of lives for just millions can we? I'm not saying that things cannot improve. Things can improve vastly, and we should try to make it better for the Kashmiris. But simply plopping Kashmir as a new country in-between Pakistan and India will not change anything.

- Really? The way I see it, Pakistan has lost any rights to criticize us for dragging our feet, when Pakistan itself started 3 wars that further entrenched both countries in this quagmire. Referendum in Kashmir us not gonna happen. Not for the reasons you think, it's not because we don't want to solve the Kashmir issue, it's because referendum will not solve any of the issues between Pakistan and India, rather just add more fire to the flame as an independant Kashmir. And why would we hold a referendum now, when zealots and fanatics hold sway over Kashmir? We waited for 70 years, let's wait another 70 years and see how things are then.

You want to believe that a referendum wont solve the problem, yet all that you people have tried has failed to win public support for India in Kashmir.
