Religion have never physically save anyone from suffering since the beginning of invention of religion and now, more religion intolerant around the world where multi religion interact with each other daily. Without religion only evil commit heinous crime but take religion for a good person to do evil deed.

If you want to know if Prophet Muhammad PBUH was a Prophet or not, study Quran. The book (Quran) is still with us and can tell you if this is a message of Lord Almighty or not.

I had a chance to study Gita after talking to an Indian fellow in the forum. Gita is written in a narrative form in which Arjun said something and Krishna replied something. Its a talk and level of wisdom which you get there is more of a sufi-like. I ask non-Muslims to give Quran a read and see is that even a human writing style? If it is not, then think who should be the one to whom this Quran was revealed to.

Quran is not just set of advises, it tells you secrets which are otherwise impossible for us to know. We have found body of Phero in 1980 but Quran is telling you that he was killed and his body was saved for the world to witness and take a lesson from. Quran says river's water stay separate despite they unite in the ocean. There are hundreds of revelations, hundreds of incidents about the past and 100s of incidents about the future and on top of that, it tells you what Allah expects you to do with each other and with Him. Put Quran to any test you like and then see if it is a book of Lord or not and if it is, then Prophet Muhammad PBUH is the Prophet to whom it was revealed to.

Good you believe in Quran. Quran mentions about some 14000 prophets of god were sent to earth to rescue and redeem the mankind. IF IT MAKES MORE SENSE THEN FOLLOW IT. Just don't talk bad about others. People follow what connects them to God.

No such thing as god punish or reward anyone in the afterlife, human innate to seek justice after someone wrong us, no need for any god to be the judge of the action of mankind. Human don't need god to tell whether greed can be harmful or the one self contentment lead to a joyful life. Human will experience these condition as they aged with time. Doesn't take the lesson from god for a person to help out a person in need, or a person commit an evil crime because a person not truthfully follow the words of god. Many factor can lead a person to be good or evil, the environment of someone upbringing can bound someone with the condition they in. Psychological factor can someone be inherently good or evil to further their own self fulfillment.

Basically, Jews were waiting for Jesus (Hazrat ESSA A.S.), Christians were waiting for Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) & Muslims are waiting for the re-arrival of Hazrat Essa (A.S.). The re-arrival of Hazrat Essa (A.S) is a belief shared by many Christians too.

Hazrat Imam Mahdi (R.A), not a prophet, is yet to arrive and the whole Muslim ummah, not just the Shias, await his emergence.

Well said. However, you probably missed a spot.......doesn't Allah also state, in Quran, that He binds the hearts of disbelievers so that they continue in their ignorant ways?
