Breaking: Russia Just deployed Su57/PAKFA in Syria at Khmemeim Airbase in latakia

1) Shitty self made drones managed to kill 2 and destroy several planes on Russias most protected base. That's top of embarrassment.
2) Israel shot down many drones including Iranian super duper stealth just recently.

Again stop lying and embarrassing yourself. No Russian aircraft was destroyed by that drone swarm attack.

Your claim of destruction.....and reality:

Drones penetrated Israel's airspace on many occasions and Israel failed to destroy them so it's laughable that you mock Russians after they managed to eliminate 13 at once.

That drone was the size of a schoolbus and it was one. What is so impressive?

Notice how Israel didn't even try to use missiles because they failed so many times downing drones with missiles in the past.

Why on earth stealth plane needs dumb bombs? LOL.

They tested everything on it. This is like asking why did Sukhoi designed the SU-25 to be able to takeoff from dirt runways and take any type of fuel. It was a requirement by the Russian Air Force just in case as a last option but it doesn't mean that SU-25s always takeoff from dirt runways or use garbage fuel.

I see only self destruct. Assadists claimed they repelled they attack, but

Yep missiles that have a range of hundreds of km are 'self destructing' shortly after launching in the same area Israeli missiles are flying over

1) Base was destroyed

7 out of 30 buildings were destroyed

thats a fail.

Major buildings are destroyed. No need to waste missiles for each one. There are 4 more destroyed buildings in other corner.

Again 7 out of 30 buildings in this "Iranian base" are destroyed. Not something I would brag about.

How is the Sukhoi PAK FA programme going? What are the biggest challenges it faces?

Not well is the short answer. The T-50 has been downgraded for now to a laughable 12 aircraft for the VVS. This is a huge indicator that the programme is beset by deep-rooted problems in many areas. The T-50/PAK FA as a whole is a perfect example of the lesson that whilst it is comparatively easy to create flying prototypes which look like fifth generation fighters, it is extremely hard to actually make them work as the US alone has managed with the F-22 so far. The huge delays and problems which have beset the F-35 project in spite of the eye-watering quantities of money and expertise which the US has thrown into it should not purely be seen as evidence of programmatic mismanagement (although there is much which I’m sure the US would do differently if given a second chance), but also as evidence of quite how hard what they are trying to achieve is. Russia can make superb airframes but extreme quality control and CPU-crushing electronic complexity are not areas where her aerospace industry has traditionally excelled. Sadly for the VVS, those are precisely what is required to make the T-50/PAK FA into something which can genuinely compete with the F-22 or F-35. Furthermore, Russia simply does not have enough money to fund its massive military modernisation programmes and priority is being given to the Strategic (nuclear) Rocket Forces, submarine force and new tanks for the army.

As of now, 4 of them are deployed to Syria..

What are they doing exactly? @vostok

If it's for showing off, it's idiotic, if for countering Israeli F-35s, then it's good, or for being battle-tested?!!! Su-35s are fully capable of doing air superiority missions, there is no reason to deploy this sensitive technology which faces threats of American advanced radars in Jordan and Israel.

Su-57 is used for air to ground strikes using Kh-38 cruise missiles. No danger for pilots to fly over enemy territory.

what message Russia intend to send by bringing their few stealth fighter to Syria !?
who was going to receive the intended message !?
nothing and no one ... As I guessed , Russia just see Syria as marketing field for her arms industry .... after all they are losing arms deals to other competitors and sooner or later China will become advance enough to stop buying their products ....

India isn't going to cooperate with them ( what Russian did think when they forced India to send every Su-30MKI's jet engine to Russia for repair and overhaul !? Did they wanted to humiliate Indian !? look like it is payback and India isn't going to invest in PAK/FA ... cocky Russians ) ...

They don't sell any useful thing to Iran ... ( although our corrupted Regime won't try to really but any air fighter because our corrupted politicians want to steal the money for themselves and send our money to invest it in western countries where their children are living ... so the blame is not entirely on Russian side ... ) ...

Arab countries won't sign new deals for years and their major deal would be with USA or western EU ...

so , Russia is losing her markets ...

1) This pic is posted buy Russian reporter Roman Saponkov who says that several aircraft were destroyed.
2) This pic shows that attack happened during the daytime and Russian MoD lied once again.
3) Two Russian soldiers were killed in attack. So its huge embarrassment anyway.
4) After that even Russia started to build protection for its planes in Syria for the first time in 2.5 years.

Drones penetrated Israel's airspace on many occasions and Israel failed to destroy them so it's laughable that you mock Russians after they managed to eliminate 13 at once.
Drone just briefly crossed a border and did not even approach any base.

That drone was the size of a schoolbus and it was one. What is so impressive?

Notice how Israel didn't even try to use missiles because they failed so many times downing drones with missiles in the past.
Drone was shot down by a missile from the helicopter.

They tested everything on it. This is like asking why did Sukhoi designed the SU-25 to be able to takeoff from dirt runways and take any type of fuel. What the point to test dumb bombs? By the way can u show any weapon inside bays? Don't tell me thats top secret because Americans and Chinese show weapon bays without any problem.

Yep missiles that have a range of hundreds of km are 'self destructing' shortly after launching in the same area Israeli missiles are flying over
How did u figure that missiles have hundreds of km range? LOL

7 out of 30 buildings were destroyed

thats a fail.
4 additional buildings were destroyed nearby. So total 11 at least. Some of the buildings were hit multiple times most probably.

On the other hand Assadist propaganda claimed that they shot 3 missiles out of 4-6:

1 missile out of 2:
http://www.almayadeen.net/news/politics/841348/الم

3 missiles out of 5:

So basically according to Assadists no more than 2-3 missiles passed through. But fact is that over 11 missiles hit their targets. So Assadists lied.

Also u can see that major buildings were destroyed: HQ building, baracks. What was spared is shower rooms, toilets and secondary buildings.

Finally there is zero proof that they managed to shot down something. They tried to show Israeli missile wreck but it was actually a Russian Buk:

1) This pic is posted buy Russian reporter Roman Saponkov who says that several aircraft were destroyed.

No proof. And so what if that is true? Unlike Israel which can't build planes, Russia can build thousands of planes because it has aircraft manufacturing facilities.

I don’t know why Russia is deploying 2 underdevelopment fighters to war theatres.

Are they testing their operations capabilities on extreme heat conditions? I think so.

Coz all other logic fail me.

Failed logic again. Air to ground cruise missile trials can be done anywhere considering Syria is not exactly the right terrain for true performance parameter of a cruise missile. Knowing the fact that all the cruise that were lobbed were from sea!

I think it’s the engine endurance testing and things related to it.

Anything else didn’t make sense.
