Any plane can be shot down by a SAM. F-117 was shot down over Serbia.

Conventional aircraft (F-15, F-16, Flankers and Fulcrums) can be easily shot down by most of the SAMs, however, the F-117 was an exceptional case and it was predictability due to SOPs set during that particular conflict which enables the shooting down of F-117. @gambit explained it to me in another thread a week ago.

There is no such thing as stealth. It's a misnomer. It's called reduced RCS. Powers don't fight each other directly. They only need to do anti terror air strikes. That's why they don't need stealth planes and UCAV is more than sufficient. There is a 1 or 2 second delay in signal transmission but terrorists still cannot survive.

Most likely that's an American drone that was shot down to frame Iran. This drone is jet powered, too fast for a helicopter to shoot down. Iran operates Shahed-129 and Mohajer-4 in Syria, not known to operate this kind of jet powered drone. There is no satellite image of this kind of jet powered drone in Syria.
