To counter any Pakistani navy approaching Maldives Indian navy can deployed much faster as Maldives is very near to India. Only Chinese fear possibly deter India .

PN is not expected to do any intervention in any country, because they don't have this mandate from Pakistani Government, they may only visit the port and do exercise with their Navy.
