if they already know about these hideouts what do they wait for a terrorist attack??

like today we are seeing news that 35 terrorists are dead in the operation against terrorists across the country only 18 killed in Karachi same question if army knows about their location what does they wait for ??? Can't they do all these things before an attack??

Exactly ! The Armed forces are not doing proactive operations to destroy militant hideouts. The other reason is that there are many Taliban sympathizers in ISI and other intelligence agencies who only inform after a terrorist attack.

these guys have technical help from intelligence agencies who have great technical and financial capabilities

Military wants political leadership to take responsibility of the combing operations in urban areas. The politicians are NOT intersted because they only want to save their skins from any blowback and/or they are supporters of these terrorists.

That is why Pakistani participation in WOT has been called a manipulative drama and there needs to be more accountability...even as NATO was busy striking terrorist in Afghanistan...we were busy blocking their supply routes..this is actually an act of war to happen by an ally...just the cool headiness of NATO saved us from being bombed..!

For that we should have been part of American collation in Afghanstan yet we refused to be part of anything against our Afghan ummah brothers...so its time to face the music..as long as Afghanistan is under ISAF occupation, they are responsible for its sovereignty and any major strike into Afghanistan will bring retaliation into Pakistan..!

Nobody, specially Americans will put their neck for, out of all people, the Afghans. They neither have strength in Afghanistan to challenge us military neither they would like to face the prospect of fully armed Taliban knocking on the doors of Kabul. They will only grind their teeth in anger and that's about it. If we are really clever, this is the opportunity to wipe the decade old terror infrastructure that India has so meticulously build in Afghanistan.
