The Russians are actually serving Israel interests by fuelling the Syrian civil war through supplying Assad weapons to destroy his own country's infastructure and kill his people .

In 1968 they faked an air emergency to land troops in Prague, Czechezslovakia; in 1979 paratroops grabbed Kabul airport with even less formality; in 1998 Russian tank troops disobeyed the U.N. command to seize the airport in Pristina, Kosovo.
On the other hand, Sevastopol's port is leased by Ukraine to Russia. The Russians justify their deployment on that basis; however, the fact that these are "stateless" soldiers (British helmets, and what is that assault rifle?) suggests something more nefarious is going on.

These 'Gunmen' taking over airports and buildings are either Specially Trained Infantry or Spec Ops. Even American Pro 2nd Amendment fanatics don't have this much sh!t.

it has nothing to do with empire. Crimea has majority russian and it was given illegitimate to ukrainian ssr. Russia has every right taking it back from ukraine or ensure that its an independent country.
