See Dalals at the helm didn't even put any effots in contesting on Talpatti Island's ownership rather chose to fight on something that belonged to us. Would a sane man ever allow others to sought after his wife/home/land/watrey areas?

we demand south talpotti but didn't mentioned in any official maps which weaken our positioned on south talpotti . if we had official maps demarcating talpotti in our side may be we get more area however what have achieved is not small like hariganga river earlier were divided between India and Bangladesh but now whole of the river which is very much navigable is totally ours . dispute were for 25602 square km and we get 76% of that cannot seen small achievement considering this area were totally in Indian control before. now we have the chance to explore the area more gas oil and fisheries activities freely and i hope the problem between India and Bangladesh will solve amicably gradually. better late then never .

2) Bangladesh instead of making claim against Indian territory mostly claimed (except South Talpatti) what it is entitled.
3) Bangladesh conceded claim over area of South Talpatti island even before the judgement.
4) As a result, Tribunal awarded india some of Bangladesh territory; 6000+ KM and area of South Talpatti island.

Net result: India did not lose anything from its territory but Bangladesh did lose 6000 + KM area and South Talpatti island.

Those who jumping with "we won" line is either naive or paddling Indo-Awami agenda of deception.

1. Appears we lost STalpotty because our side did not submit any official map claiming this to be within our territory. Mention of late unlamented Radcliffe is just to fool us. Remember Zia was killed almost immediately after he began to demand Talpotty in public meetings.
