Not happening, if anything India's moves after Modi have only helped Pakistan's cause. I read through sentiments of Kashmiri expats and students some ten years ago and they were focused on their prosperity and using the Indian system to get more rights rather than independence.
That was a time I was sure Pakistan was going to lose the Kashmir issue since the echoes of wanting a semi-independent life were also hitting Azad Kashmir.
The current regime is plainly trying demographic change to legalize the idea that Kashmir isn't disputed but that can never permeate through either sides nationalist lens. Not that it isn't a shrewd if not brutal way to solve an issue.

We'll have to see if your prediction comes true. Kashmir allowed 99 year lease before this move. So I'm not very convinced that the new rule will make a significant difference.

I can imagine Indians moving to Kashmir if there are jobs there. This requires security in the region. Perhaps more than that, the region needs infrastructure and educated labor fur economic developments.

1) Abhinandan's group was merely defending against the attempted PAF incursion. They succeeded in that. Bombing Pakistan was already done the day before.

2) The choice for Pakistan was to release Abhinandan within 24 hours, as ordered by India, or to face the full might of the Indian military. They wisely chose the former.

You must be very young (teenager?) or very naive or both, if you think that you can take Kashmir from India. Even your military hasn't dared to try that openly since 1965.

And yes, India will do whatever it takes to defend Kashmir. In '65, you made the same mistake of assuming that India will not risk a larger war for Kashmir, and started Operation grandslam and India responded by all out counter attacks all across the IB and Punjab. You ended up defending Lahore, instead of taking Kashmir.

Kashmir has always been, and always will be defended like any other part of India. You will not take it from us. Your military will not dare - even in 1999, they had to send non uniformed jihadis to die, instead of facing us like real men. That ended with a regime change in Pakistan.

We want extra rights in non Muslim countries but no non Muslim should ever migrate to our Muslim majority lands. And the few original non muslims should either convert, leave or die.
