Regarding news of ceasefire, there is no truce at all. A truce was agreed upon in 2014 that included full reconstruction of the strip, increasing fishing zone and building a port for Gaza. None of that was implemented, expect reconstruction partially. The pathetic liars lie and don't honor any agreements.

What happened earlier was the Palestinians responded to the Israeli strikes and declared the response had passed but any other attack will be met with an attack. So the IDF opened fire on border guards in southern Gaza which prompted mortar fire targeting the IDF infrastructure across the border. And now we are here.

Very unfortunate if you go this route when you can make things much easier and come to political resolution. Those flying balloons into Israel are mostly normal unemployed young adults who can't find any source of income and struggle to provide for their families.

What's happening recently:

After recent military clash the lasted a day, Israel want to regain control of narrative that has since been enforced by Hamas. So it began organized media campaign in last few days claiming Egypt is pressuring Gaza to stop flying balloons into Israel. Or that Hamas agreed to stop Gaza's residents from flying them. All these reports are false. Egypt did not contact Hamas or Islamic Jihad regarding any of those matters. The joint resistance committee announced it's military response had ended that night to Israeli strikes. There was no new truce being proposed by Israel or US or international committee. The only truce there is in place right now is the 2014 agreement, which Israel never implemented and is violating today.

Yet, Israel continues to publish false reports regarding the balloons, such as Hamas will stop Gaza residents flying them gradually. This is another fake news. Hamas only hears of this via the media and no such thing was discussed. The residents who are unemployed and living through a siege(longest we've seen in recent history, Aleppo siege lasted months and world went crazy, yet Israel's besiegement of Gaza allowed to continue for more than decade) will continue sending messages to Israel that they must rethink their attitude/policies towards Gaza.

Hamas will not prevent them. So for those getting news from Twitter or Israeli media, come here always to find the right news regarding this matter.

Hamas armed wing: The enemy struck a group of border guards(uninvolved in balloon activity) in eastern Rafah early afternoon of today, which led to the Martyrdom of Abd-Alkareem Ismael Ridwan, in a new cowardly crime committed and they will pay a price for it

To make it clear they were just border guards on duty and unrelated to any other events and it was basically an assassination. The border guards are part of Hamas's armed wing. They are usually meant to guard the border or prevent rocket launches from smaller factions.

Any reports of an Israeli soldier being hit by sniper fire earlier are false. There is nothing appearing on Israeli media as of now. Yet, twitter news profiles are forwarding that false report to suggest that is why all this shelling is happening.

First they claim sniper fire now regular fire at the border. There was no gun fire at all, they felt the need to attack to try sending message that no one can demonstrate at the border.

Beware of fake reports on Twitter trying to analyze what occurred. Nothing occurred besides Israeli political orders to army to start terrorizing/killing demonstrators .
