Breaking: Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed fired by PM

.
This time however THAT international establishment is China and not USA anymore. Alliances have changed since the last NRO. Kiyani is gone and so is USA. Pakistan current establishment is heavily tilted towards China.

Pakistan has survived the sanctions in the past, where establishment didn't listen to West and didn't accept any lollipops either for not doing the nuclear tests.

If international establishments are so blindly followed, then Pakistani establishment should happily dismember Pakistan for them as that's what those Western establishments want.

Unfortunately, the political elite has developed good ties even with new International establishment. Even with Kyani gone, the legacy or bonds remains there in one form or another. Maybe all along, Raheel was just a refined Kyani with better media management. Besides Maryam's gate, Raheel had another chance to hit PMLN in case of Model Town but he choose to be Kyani. This looks harsh but that is the reality. Another bitter truth is, if Pakistan gets dismembered, where will Chaps build DHAs. There is a slim chance that upcoming generation of cadets will not be nothing like Kyani or Raheel. Till then :pakistan: Pakistan Zindabad

I have long been rooting for this.... But Do u really see any chance of this happening? Any sign..of this, by looking at the behavior and actions of our current military leadership?

This may just be the only way left for the army. Install a new system quickly that mutes those international powers egging to malign the army.

There's a limit to pessimism ... if you (guys and gals) can't see a prosperous Pakistan in the future, then so be it.

Ofcourse this is..and this should happen.. But do u see any chance of this happening..by looking at the behavior and actions of our cureent military leadership? They are posing themselves at neutral... What makes u think....tht are planning or looking to do such thing?...i see no signs

Ohoo... You are taking us wrong... I have been long advocating for such a system.. Infact if it was for me, i would literally beg General sharif to do so... But the problem is ..our army doesnt seem interested currently in bringing a change.... Thts what the problem is...

A hard pill would have to be swallowed sooner or later by the establishment. Put Pakistan on the right recovery or carry on as normal and allow chaos to spread.

Pakistan was not created to remain in chaos forever. And this form of democracy will not auto-correct. Once the building develops cracks that can't be repaired, it needs to be demolished for reconstruction. That will happen, whether you want to believe or not.

I am afraid tht, by the time it happens..its not too late...

I just hope change happens soon... Its the need of hour... We cant wait longer... But then again..
does army leadership realise the gravity of situation..as we do? And are they as interested..in change..as much as we are? Do u see any signs, of this? @Verve

Nawaz and status quo are the biggest internal threat to CPEC.

Except it is Pervaz Khattak that is threat to CPEC. It was same Pervaz Khattak that maintained anti-development of Pakistan for so long, and to the extent, voiced against the Khala Baag dam consistently.

PMLN is anything but internal threat to the development of Pakistan. If anything, it is Pervaz Khattak that is personally hired by Imran Khan. One might wonder given PTI constant pro-TTP stances, housing every anti-Pakistani elements together for Islamabad lockdown, then hiring Pervaz Khattak, biggest anti-Pakistan development in the history of Pakistan, for PTI paint, quite frankly, very gloomy picture.

As i said earlier, PMLN is anything but internal threat to the development of Pakistan. If PMLN had been allowed to succeed with Khala baag dam with no anti-elements to vote down the development and military takeover-free, today Pakistan will be different story.

Wow.. blame EVERYTHING on IK .. may as well include the 120k debt on each Pakistani in IK's evil doings (borrowing that first started in PPP's rule post Zia and only reduced during Musharaf's era and increased in every civilian gov). Good going - well done and keep it up!

Imran Khan hired Pervaz Khattak out of many possible candidates. Then, my fear turned into the reality when Imran Khan personally fired his own accountability team for exposing corruption from within his party that contained most part about Pervaz Khattak. Given the Pervez Khattak in the long history of maintaining anti-development of Pakistan, and then with PTI maintaining pro-TTP stances that is responsible for killing more than 50,000 innocent people in Pakistan.

What do you think one would make of this apparent happening?

Calm down

Please don't engage him. He's your typical PML-N supporter. In his mind, Nawaz Sharif is a messiah and corruption is good for the country. In his mind Imran Khan was responsible for 9/11 and every evil in the world. Our friends are under immense pressure as their corruption is getting exposed, so they are desperate. Ignore and stay calm.

That is it? Lies is your best defense? That is your idea of tabdheeli?

You could have easily disagreed with me and move on. Instead you lied on the top of it. Why?

I dont think so... At max they will house arrest or arrest him, and not let him go out....

You don't know how far is PMLN ready to go to neutralize the threat of an emerging power in Punjab. For them it's the easiest task as they have some extremists on their payroll in Punjab.

I am telling you, Khans life is in danger. Besides, he never takes any precautions.

Army will be deploying some commandoes as civilians to keep khan out of danger (I think). Just pray for him.

There is nothing like true Peoples' rising in today's modern world to disrupt things.

I respectfully disagree. Many examples are there if you read history. Very recent example: Turkey.

If you are in Pakistan, just do what you can. Rest, leave on Allah.

But uptil now...govts strategy has been to..not let him get out of bani gala...
When he..will not step out..how can he be killed?

plus..i think its too risky an option for themselves too.. and I think they know it.. anything happening to Imran khan now, and all hell will break loose... they wouldn't be able to handle it... all fingers will point at them..it will be a suicide mission for them, with no political martyr image.....although they may want it deep inside, but I don't think they will go tht route

The same was thought about the generation of cadets of the 1970s that they will be different from Ayub and Yahya.
