Boy Killed as Lions Attack in Safari Park Lahore

A 17-year-old youth killed in an attack by four lions in Safari Park located in Lahore .

According to details of the dreadful incident, youth identified as Bilal went towards the cage of lions while cutting grass in the park,

While it also emerged that youth entered the lions’ cage, which resulted in his death.

The administration of the Safari Park launched investigation into the matter to find out the route cause behind the incident.

(Karachi) A teenager was reportedly attacked and killed by lions in Lahore Zoo Safari on Wednesday.

According to details, Bilal, a resident of a nearby locality, left home two days ago to bring fodder for the cattle. When he did not return home after several hours, his family got worried and they started searching for him.

However, after two days, his body was found inside the lions' cage in Lahore Zoo Safari. In a fit of rage, Bilal's relatives and other people of the locality gathered at the zoo and ransacked the premises. They damaged the windows and some vehicles in the zoo premises.

Later, police and rangers were called in to control the situation.

Meanwhile, the police said that it is apparently unclear whether the victim jumped into the lions' cage or his body was dumped in it after murder.

The police officials maintained that 10 years back, Bilal's uncle was also murdered at the same spot. The police have registered a case and began investigations.

Safari Zoo managers need to be more professional in managing its affairs. Cannot take uncaged lions for granted there.

I think south africa lions not attack those who record their videos openly when they hunt prey,these lions in Lahore are hungry due to less availability of food to them that is why they attack humans otherwise if they are getting their good diet they not generally attack people when they are tamed

Dunno why people enter big cat enclosures happens allover the world. Also no offence but big cats in zoos in adia always look thin and weak. Most likely they were really really hungry.

Animals are not some slaves that they should be encaged or what. They deserve freedom as much as we humans.

The misognyst zoo keepers were harassing this lion despite the lion wearing hijab

Furthermore, the lions were being taunted “Apna khana khud pakao”, but then the zookeepers weren’t coming near to the lions.
