Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra meets Rohingyas in Bangladesh

Mate i will give respect to those who show respect, I'm still open to having any discussion with civility if it's done with the same, If we agree on the subject matter or not

Man, it's not about respect, emotions often make your statements to be devoid of any facts, that's what the cheap trolls look like and gotta say these emotions have gotten you.

As I said, you just got cajoled by that depressed net-addict who keep roaming around the forum and finds people like you who he could rally around to fulfil his weird addiction.

Anyway, good luck!

Nah.. So highlight the parts of my posts that are devoid of facts ?.. I have my own opinion on subject matter that interest me, I think on the contrary @Nilgiri have managed to make a deeper impact on you'll than anyone else it seems, Cos you seem to give him way more credit than he deserve actually by getting on your nerves

So why dont we discuss my posts to you not the ones i have replied to the immature hyper keyboard warriors on here ?

So you will keep saying that the Rohingyas being denied citizenship and basic rights despite having a documented history in Arakan since at least 17th century is a mere Western propaganda?

And you think India is a player in this issue while they have no influence or contribution in the agreement signed between Bangladesh and Myanmar, mediated by China?

It's like saying the Brexit negotiations are all dependent on Cyprus and not the UK and EU.

I think on the contrary @Nilgiri have managed to make a deeper impact on you'll than anyone else it seems, Cos you seem to give him way more credit than he deserve actually by getting on your nerves

It's not about giving credit or something, he gets easily noticed by his weird conducts as he spends the most time here, even more than all the Bangladeshis combined, repeating the same posts in every threads no matter what the topic is about, only to vent his vile frustrations. That, pretty sure, falls into symptoms of some disorder.

There's alternative history to that as well, Muslims in Arakan were though to have been the Kamar not Rohingya, The term Rohingya is a relatively new, Bengali Muslims now known as Rohingya are more recent migrants from Chittagong area during the British Raj not 17th century.. According To many other sources

https://www.worldcat.org/title/muslims-of-burma-a-study-of-a-minority-group/oclc/185556301

End of the day it's all due to integration, My crux of the matter here is a vile one sided propaganda.. Unlike in the past alternate views and news are easily accessible, For anyone to make their own informed opinion

As for India's role, You have to admit Bangladesh is a nation almost completely encircled by India, India is the regional power if we like it or not, Thus in real politik nothing really happens without taking Indian position viz a viz what ever happens in it's neighborhood, It's not only true for Bangladesh but to almost all smaller nations in the region,, Now by saying this do not mistake the context i have said that as being subservient to Indian hegemony, But thats the ground reality.. Myanmar though with lesser development stage atm due to decades of closed up economy has a far bigger global strategical and economic influence than Bangladesh tbh.. So undermining Myanmar as a 4th world shithole as some idiot cliam will be to your own peril

Don't take it otherwise but it's something only done by cheap trolls to insert a link to an obscure book without mentioning any specific page numbers to win an argument.

As for the history of Rohingya, Muslims in Arakan could either be Kaman or Rohingya or both, however, the word 'Rooinga' (corrupt form of the term Rohingya) is specifically mentioned by Francis Buchanan in his 1799 article titled "A Comparative Vocabulary of Some of the Languages Spoken in the Burma Empire" arguing the Rohingyas were long settled in Arakan. Note that the British Rule in Burma only started in 1824.

Never denied India's position as a regional power but was only discussing their role specifically in the Rohingya crisis which is next to zero. The main negotiation here is being done by Bangladesh and China.

Again, you have failed to support your argument with any credible source.

Myanmar though with lesser development stage atm due to decades of closed up economy has a far bigger global strategical and economic influence than Bangladesh tbh.. So undermining Myanmar as a 4th world shithole as some idiot cliam will be to your own peril

If you really think a market of 50 million people has 'far bigger global economic influence' than a market of 160 million then let's agree to disagree.

As for strategic influence, that's a subjective matter. I would say Maldives to have far more strategic influence than Sri Lanka for some good reasons, you could definitely argue otherwise with your own reasoning.

Nope as BD has outlet to sea.
India needs BD like BD needs India. NE states need BD transit and BD economic engagement to prosper.
BD is getting strong quicker than India is as well.

.
For Bangladesh west Bengal and Rakhine are the same thing.

. .
Things you will never have, get ejected from when you there illegally...and are lot better than you in every way? Yep I agree.

I think you know what i meant. But to be safe...
West Bengal is a part of India just Rakhine is to Myanmar with Bengali people.
If you justify Rakhine issue because they are Bengali people, you can apply the same for west Bengal people.

Unless you are already doing it. I hear Hindu Bengali people are declining in the west Bengal. It is not "lot better than us in every way" for Bengali Hindus over there.

Things you will never have, get ejected from when you there illegally...and are lot better than you in every way? Yep I agree.
Doesn't match with:
They remind me of the India-stronk jerks (esp in the 90s era cricket wise and other when we honestly sucked at everything still) I got personal distaste for as well.

.
Doesn't match with:

It actually does ....I mentioned quite clearly it was the 90s and there is actual accomplishment eventually past what BD can dream of in 50 - 100+ years (as said by your own @bluesky )...whereas BD is now eating less and earning less compared to 2010:

Of course like typical jamati-lite, have to rush to religion basis. There is no such thing as Indian Bengali muslim? Its simple, federal law is that illegal (with no refugee status) gets deported. Not to mention West Bengal and whole of India has complete different standard of development....we are supposed to believe we have same level of urbanisation now lol:

Ok i take it back (to avoide your Jamati hu ha), let's say Bengali population.
Overall Bengali population is on decrease.
This is what Myanmar is doing to Rohingya people but you are doing it smartly.

But my point is, it is not all "lot better than you in every way" as you mentioned for Bengali people over there.

I think BD has to go a long way to catch up with you guys in bike production sector. Don't think it would take 50-100+ years though.

Fair enough, you seem more reasonable guy. Whole region has much work to do....no one is fully better than anyone else...when we are all still stuck near bottom anyway.

Yah he was just exaggerating, but it was coming out of a place because of big BD stronk, BAL = best thing attitude of some other members. Its not just bike production, but industry + services in general. Hope the best for BD.

.
Yep there you go, Although i'm surprised at both the BBC and AI, orgs well known for one sided skewed propaganda to finally highlight the atrocities from the Rohingya side
Atrocity from Rohingya side? What bullshit you are smoking? Does few hundred ARSA extremist represent million plus Rohingya people? It is like saying, ISIS represent the whole Muslim world. ARSA is a burmese tool to get an excuse to kill and drive away the Rohingyas.ARSA is not an legitimate, recognized body unlike Burmese state and military. If you think, world opinion will judge the conduct of ARSA with Burmese authority equally then you are living in a la-la land.

Bangladesh need to bury it's ego and accept these people back
Which will likely to happen anyway weather they like it or not,
Bangladesh will never be accomplice with the burmese genocide and ethnic cleansing. With biometric registration completed, it is impossible for Rohingyas to acquire Bangladeshi citizenship.Sooner or later bulk of them will be repatriated to burma. Even the burmese junta has no courage to deny their repatriation.

He won't reply you anymore, he does this everywhere. Whenever he's countered by facts and has nothing to argue he just flees the discussion but comes up with the same posts and comments in another thread that he's been already countered before.

And then, he asks why people goes on to him like this.

Could be wrong though but he does seem to have some anti-Muslim sentiments.
