Better 10 years late then never
Tb2 is drone that has proven its mettle
Should be liscence produced in 100s to squash insurgency in pakistan and afghanistan
actually as proven by US it might increase insurgency instead of quashing it- don't think its hard to "quash" insurgency through hard power for a country like Pak
its those sleeper cells that we struggle with mostly

Thing with the US was, they used their drone power in a country which they had earlier INVADED. The majority of the population didnt like them.

With Pakistan, the majority of the population supports the armed forces. Especially considering the fact how civillian casualties are very limited

They don't really have unlimited supply of men and no strong foreign backers.

If you start droning the hell outta FATA and Baluchistan- I am not too sure if they'll still support PA might make them angrier
overuse of drones can be counterproductive, it should be used very carefully (ofcourse overrunning of posts is definitely one of those places where drones should be used- but target killing with drones is a double edged sword )

well unleash drones US style and they'll start getting both

Different environment and motivating factors. The US faced an enemy driven by religious fervour Pakistan doesn't. The US were also foreign Pakistan isn't.
The belief of fighting for your own homeland is weak among the Baluch as other factors such us the pull to cities to earn a good living and the fact Iran will never let go of its part, make it less appealing.
The fact this is working shows now in the very young ages of these men, as the elders have been killed off or left the region to escape the conflict. Their social media feeds (I won't put up) talk of unsustainable losses they cannot replace. If this is carried on their manpower will be eliminated breaking the insurgency. Intelligence has also been exceptional and again from their social media feeds they're complaining about thousands of informants, even among their own fighting ranks who are giving away positions. If you look at the past month or so and the ambushes on their units many of them were literally shot through their mouths whilst they were eating rice and chicken i.e. at rest.
What the drones will do aside from acting as a devastating morale sapping weapon is give 24 hour watch over the skies and enable us to spot converging men and vehicles in remote regions before they launch an attack on remote posts of the FC, which has been seen. They then get destroyed by missiles, and the drone moves on. This will lead to a 'micronisation' of the conflict with smaller attacks which can be gotten rid of through intelligence operations.
The Sri-Lankans managed to finish off the tigers which had greater support among the population, we can with the BLA, BLF, BNA etc with more tools and them having lesser support.
