Blood telegram : A fact about innocent Biharis

Everybody will agree on everything except the bolded and red part.

If theres separate laws, then its a natural extension of that. Besides it promotes competition. Healthy competition is good. There would be a joint pool of course with selected reasons for using it past the union prime directives.

Anyway its all mere hypothetical dreaming now. Too much water and blood has flowed under the bridge. Everyone has to make the best with what they have inherited.

The Australia Doctor associated with Abortion in Indian refugee camps estimated that 2 to 4 lac women were raped.

Did he abort 2/4 lacs by himself.?2/4 lac could be the children born that time even I doubt that.

1 crore refugee can produce 2/4 lac considering the population growth rate above 3% that time.

What do you mean, you think Indians are sheep who will watch you annex their territory silently :-)

No They will themselves return it to us once the demographic war is complete.

Anyway You do not get to question the exclusion of West Bengal Darjeeling and Assam. Your very own Khaja Nazimuddin was responsible for that.

But now that underlying nature of these BAL-loving Bangladeshis are coming out in so many threads in this forum
It is not political ideology alone. It is faith that is the driving force. Where a particular faith is concerned, the forces pulling the strings in the end will always be the same.

Regardless of political ideology - Islam is growing in strength in BD. The natural consequences will follow.

It was a good decision to divide Pakistan into two though. Otherwise their efforts would have been coordinated. Establishing a puppet would have been impossible. It allows the Hindus some respite and some chance to leave with dignity.

I didnt want to bring that aspect of it. Religious discussions etc. I myself have tired out on discussing that part of it. I may retreat from political side of it soon too. I find myself going in circles with the same regular crowd.

I am Sylheti :-)

Sylhet voted for joining Pakistan in '47 you know so I will support whomever I like none of your concern

Out of your experience in UK, what is the split in sylhetis there between supporting Bangladesh and Pakistan? Of the latter ones, would they rather be part of India than Bangladesh?

Updated the post. Please check.

As for religion - all over the Muslim world, the ONLY common thread is Religion. Islam dominates everything, as it was expected to do.

Don't flatter yourself. Sheikh Hasina isn't your puppet. She has built the nonexistent Navy into a formidable force and opened Her country for Chinese Businessmen. I fail to see any capitulation. Help me too see one.

That is good. Believe that. :)

Yup read your post, still agree with it. I get the whole strategic side of it for India. I am just talking purely from the moral/ethical realm.....and with plenty of hindsight too. Its not so clear cut....but yes it did make India the clear regional power. It needed to happen sooner than later.

I want to believe you.
Yes. Bangladesh is a sovereign country totally independent of foreign pressures and influences. India has no say and no play in Bangladesh, which is solely and entirely decided by the rightfully and honorably elected Awamy League by the honest people of Bangladaesh with an overwhelming majority. :agree:

It is cute when the Jamatis and Indians talk in the same tone.
