Modern warfare is to blame, Despite us so called Civilized societies and our so called better ways of waging war , with blessing of Geneva conventions modern humans have commit some of the worse war crimes in history . World War 2 , Vietnam War , Korean War , Iraq and Afghanistan war , Serbian/Bosnian wars , Chechan war , etc
Armies and countries systematically targeted civilians , places of Worship and used Religion as a tool to recruit and rallied people behind a strong cause . People need a strong reason to believe that their deaths have some meaning , and there is a larger cause they are fighting for .
In modern times we bomb a shit load of innocent civilians and be done with it by calling it Collateral Damage . But One incident of Banu Qureza is still bothering these so called Civilized people of the west .
