Cut down on the personal attack guys. Discuss the message not the messenger. If one says pakistani army is punjabistani army thats one idiots belief, you got to ignore it and walk out just like you walk out on an atheist. If it becomes childish, we will take actions, criticism is welcome, but crap is not. Lull slow down your bashing spree, and criticize without unecessary ignorant comments.

Cheetah no need to support Lull while personal attacking sparten.

Terrible loss of human lives I feel very sad, Innocents get caught up in such incidences. Everybody should condemn it.

I second that!
I hope the traitors get caught and hanged soon! :hrr:

A suicide bomber has killed at least 42 soldiers as they exercised at an army training school in north-west Pakistan.
It is the deadliest attack by militants on the army since it began operations against pro-Taleban and al-Qaeda fighters close to the Afghan border.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.

It happened in the town of Dargai in North West Frontier Province, not far from where the army said it killed some 80 militants last week.

The BBC's M Ilyas Khan says Wednesday's attack could undermine recent agreements between the military and pro-Taleban militants in other border areas.

Emotions in the region have been running high since an air strike on a religious school (madrassa) last week in the neighbouring area of Bajaur, in which the army said 80 militants were killed.

Local people insisted the dead were innocent religious students.(and what do the local say now)

'Expected'

The army base targeted in Wednesday's suicide bombing is about 40km (30 miles) south-east of the bombed madrassa.

MILITANT ATTACKS

25 June 2002 - 10 soldiers killed during raid on alleged Al Qaeda hideout in South Waziristan
14 Dec 2002 - Failed attempt to assassinate President Musharraf in Rawalpindi
25 Dec 2002 - 15 killed in suicide car bomb attack on Gen Musharraf who escapes unscathed
16 March 2004 - 18 security personnel killed in ambush in South Waziristan
22 March - 19 solders killed in South Waziristan
10 June 2004 - 11 soldiers killed in attack on convoy carrying the current vice chief of army staff
30 September 2005 - 11 soldiers killed in South Waziristan
8 November 2006 - At least 42 soldiers killed by suicide attacker in North West Frontier Province

'Ominous omens' for army

"The attack was carried out by a man who got down from a car wearing a chaddor [cloak] and walked into the parade," Interior Minister Aftab Sherpao said.

"After the Bajaur incident this was expected, but we will continue the fight against terror. We condemn it, innocent lives were lost."

The US government condemned the army camp attack and praised the efforts of the Pakistani government in tackling militants.

An eyewitness, Aurangzeb, told the BBC he saw soldiers picking up scattered body parts minutes after the explosion.

"The victims were dying. Their shoes and caps were scattered all over the place," he said.

It appeared that most of the men who died were military recruits who had been doing morning exercises.

Up to 20 soldiers were wounded in the attack. Some are believed to be in a critical condition.

The military are reported to have sealed off the area and also the hospital where the wounded are being treated.

Dargai is a stronghold of a banned pro-Taleban movement, Tehreek-e-Nifaz-e-Shariat-Mohammadi (TNSM).

The head of the madrassa targeted last week was a TNSM member. He was killed in the attack.

The TNSM led thousands of tribesmen across the border into Afghanistan to take on American forces after the US-led invasion of Afghanistan in 2001. Many never returned.

In recent days, tribesmen have openly threatened suicide attacks against the army in retaliation for the madrassa air raid which many also blamed on US forces across the border.

Pakistan has deployed nearly 80,000 troops along the border to hunt militants who sought refuge after the ousting of the Taleban in Afghanistan in 2001.

webby MY BAD i do appalogize :D

Its seems that attack was a response by pro Al-Qaida extremists in response of Pakistans Gunship attack against a training camp.

I wonder how did "innocent civilians" end up with bombs so fast and the ability to go bomb a military camp. This confirms who we bombed a few days ago, were definitely militants and enemies of the state.

Brother, everyone in pak has a bomb in their house. Just cause they had one and used it doesn't mean squat, those tribals be making them in their kitchens for gad sakes.

This was a terrible attack, but we all knew it was comming cause of the madrassa attack, which i didn't like one bit, we could have arrested them! But hey every action has a reaction. I hope our pakistani gov. makes better tatical choices next time, they should have known if u fight the tribals their asses will fight back!

Retaliation after the madrassah air strike was waiting to happen ad now it just did! Pathetic acts of violence indeed as brother Asim mentioned.

It is, and again its disguisting:disagree: that both sides have no fear of taking each other's lives, live's of their own people. I dono where the hell this thing is gonna led to. perhaps more killings:frown:

Essentially our people have no fear of a civil clash or conflict. If god forbids it happens it shall ruin the nation and tempt India to assault us with massive force.

LOL. NOT IN MY HOUSE!

And its a different thing when bombing a military camp. It was a militant attack, not an attack by civilians.

Man at some point it'd be asked of us Pakistanis. Do we stand by the men who have taken an oat to formidably stand in harms way for us or do we stand for the men who'd sell to the highest bidder of the Indian consulates along the Afghan border.

Pakistan has criminals, traitors, terrorists. They are at war with us ALL. We've already tied the hands of our military so much by the continuous ramblings of why it is so bad about fighting on our own soil. We forget to point fingers at the people who are the fighters on our soil. Why? Because those fighters don't give a crap about your opinion while the government has to.

The reason why we are in this mess is cause of military rule and Mushy. He has reversed our policies on almost every issue which Pakistan was pursuing till 1999.

The current mess is due to Pakistan siding with America. I agree any other person in Mushy's place would have done the same thing but the fact is Mushy was easy to convince. He lacked public support and this made him an easy target to American pressure. Had there been an elected government and an elected leadership, things would have been a lot different.

If we want to counter American pressure we need to shift power to a larger cabinet rather than Mushy alone.
