New Delhi: In a shocking development, it has been revealed that an Indian Mujahideen operative had in 2012, during questioning by the Delhi Police, confessed doing a recce of Dilsukh Nagar in Hyderabad. A crucial police interrogation report accessed by CNN-IBN has revealed that specific information was provided during the questioning of the Indian Mujahideen operative.

The Indian Mujahideen operative, identified as Maqbool, was arrested by the special cell of the Delhi Police from Hyderabad itself. During interrogation, Maqbool confessed to have carried out recce of three areas, including Dilsukh Nagar, in Hyderabad.

During the probe into the Pune blasts, the special cell of Delhi Police interrogated Indian Mujahideen operative Riyaz Bhatkal, and got leads to four other suspects. After arresting these four suspects and questioning them, the Delhi Police got information about Maqbool, who was later arrested from Hyderabad.

Govt. is busy in snooping on Jaitley. CBI is used against Mayavati, Gadkari, etc. Sometimes I think Indian policemen and women should have let terrorists to enter Parliament. Even when their life was in Danger, they can't work together still.

Not to forget no CCTV coverage of sensitive cities like Hyderabad.

True.

CBI must be made autonomous of the central govt and report to Supreme court. That would be a start.

There is no point in having an agency that reports to the same govt that it is investigating.

Do you know how many central agencies are there? are all of them used by the govt? did the nda not use the cbi when it was in power?
should we let our security structure be weak only on the basis of an argument that it might be misused? going by that the police in india are the most misused agency in india . they always side with the rich . should we ban the cops too?

C'mon sir, now don't talk like usual Politician (My Saree is more WHITE than yours ).

I am saying from a neutral perspective, i am saying no matter which party comes to power, there should be precautions kept just in case it becomes another TOOL to achieve Political Vendetta.

Than NCTC will not be serving the Union of India, instead it will be only serving vested INTERESTS of few.
