@Abingdonboy & @jbgt90 sir, i agree with you on the NCTC issue.

But there should be some precautions/caveats in the law so that the Central Govt. can't use it as a Political weapon against opposition.

We all know how CBI is (mis) used, don't we??

Govt. is busy in snooping on Jaitley. CBI is used against Mayavati, Gadkari, etc. Sometimes I think Indian policemen and women should have let terrorists to enter Parliament. Even when their life was in Danger, they can't work together still.

Not to forget no CCTV coverage of sensitive cities like Hyderabad.

Either your interpretation is poor, or you are dumb to not know that Napal and INDIA have open border and its the easiest way in for LeT and IM to get access via China and to Pakistan or even Afganisthan, so either you are acting dumb or you are dumb, chose yourself

should we let our security structure be weak only on the basis of an argument that it might be misused? going by that the police in india are the most misused agency in india . they always side with the rich . should we ban the cops too?

Do you know how many central agencies are there? are all of them used by the govt? did the nda not use the cbi when it was in power?
should we let our security structure be weak only on the basis of an argument that it might be misused? going by that the police in india are the most misused agency in india . they always side with the rich . should we ban the cops too?

Look, you are just repeating the same thing again and again. Being a card carrying Congress member literally you can do is blame the opposition without looking at the failings of the center and how its misusing central agencies to harass and bully political opponents. We dont want one more such agency with sweeping powers to continuously bully state goverments that are not ruled by the party in the center be it Congress or BJP.

NCTC as it is against the constitution, pure and simple. It is upto the center to stop bullying the states, taken them into confidence and try to build a consensus.
