Yes, RIP to the dead. It is frightening to think that, the whole region, going all the way from Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, China (Xinjiang); even Russia is becoming unstable, & being faced with this problem now.

Despite our horrible neighborhood and their non state actors where the PM says he can not guarantee his non state actors will not carry out attacks in foreign countries, but the same PM then goes and defends his non state actors in UNSC, the terrorism instances in India have declined.

This is because the common masses in India do not support terrorism.

The common masses in Pakistan do not support terrorism either. What you are seeing are the effects of the WOT in Afghanistan spilling over to other countries: it is affecting the whole region very badly, including Pakistan, China, even India & Russia.

They do not support terrorism in Pakistan, but surveys show they support terrorists like LET or Afghan Taliban! Not to mention Pakistan's vigorous defence of terrorist organisations in UNSC with China's help!

But thats not the topic here, lets not talk about Pakistan. The topic is how India should overcome this challenge and do even better!

death may be increased reports says

All I'm saying is, these are the effects of the WOT on the region. Before 2006, bomb blasts were almost unheard of in Pakistan as well. It's not surprising that the situation is worsening in other countries in the region as well with how things are going in Afghanistan. There was a bomb blast in Delhi about three months ago as well, but thankfully, no one was killed. Then there was the blasts in Mumbai. There have been bomb blasts in India's North Eastern states very frequently this year as well, along with Kashmir.

Union Home Minister P Chidambaram will make a statement at 12:30 pm. The Union Home secretary says initial investigation suggests the bomb was apparently placed in a suitcase.

Court business is usually heavy on Wednesday which is listed as a Public Interest Litation(PIL) day when the visitors come to the court in large numbers. Gate number 5 is where the passes are made for litigants.

The explosion is said to have taken place right outside the reception. Police control at Gate no. 5 is said to be minimal.

Two fire tenders have rushed to the scene. The police have cordoned off the area.

Mate ........ There was no WOT before 9/11 ........but still India was suffering.
Its just now that when Pakistan is suffering from terrorism common masses are getting against it.

But still a large population not only support but do work in Pakistan for terrorist activities in India

Delhi Blast: There was blood all over, says eyewitness

New Delhi: "It was a powerful blast...there is a lot of blood there," said a shocked woman lawyer, who was just driving up to work at the Delhi High Court when the explosion took place near Gate no 5.

Lawyers explain that 10.30 am is peak hour at this gate, which is used by litigants to enter and exit the courts. On Wednesdays there are more of them a it is a day for public interest litigations. This gate is crowded as entry passes are given out here. It is also the entrance closest to the parking area.

Lawyers said the blast could be heard at the Patiala House two or three kilometers away. Kavita, an eyewitness said she was in a judge's chamber when she heard the blast. "The windows rattled she said."

Early reports say the explosives were kept in a briefcase near the gate. At least 24 people have been injured. Most of the wounded have been taken to RML hospital.

The legal fraternity has not forgotten another blast a few months ago outside Gate no 7 of the Delhi High Court. That blast was of a lower intensity and caused lesser damage.

Police say the bomb was kept in a suitcase near a counter where those entering the court get passes made that permit entry into court.

The explosion occurred outside gate No 5 where 100 to 200 people were waiting in queue to get passes for entry into the court complex.

The policemen are checking the cars near the court. Meanwhile, Mumbai has been put on high alert.

The police control room received a phone call from the court at about 10.15 am requesting help. The blast took place just before the court opened for hearings.

Ambulances are at the court now to help rush those injured to hospital. Five fire engines are also at court.

Court business is usually heavy on Wednesday which is listed as a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) day when the visitors come to the court in large numbers.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is likely to handle the investigation. Rajya Sabha has been adjourned till 2 pm to allow government to collect information and make statement on the blast.

Home Minister P Chidambaram will make a statement at 12:30 pm in the Lok Sabha.

Proof? You know what a large population even is?

No country supports Terrorism. We ALL condone ANY type of terrorism. I find your statement to be a bit distasteful and not necessary. I dont think its respectful to get a cheap shot at this time . Respect the dead and save your natural anger for Pakistan for another day.
