Blame game after Iran women pepper-sprayed at World Cup qualifier

Yes and last time i checked only i decide what sports i do. I get sponsoring, a stipendium.

People can do and watch whatever they want. Its this kind of autocratic bla bla, to believe you can decide for others...that makes me sick

Yes, you will be sponsored, by some Capitalist corporation like PepsiCo most of whose drinks are harmful and should have been banned. And perhaps if tea companies and tea houses were popular in the West then more Westerners would have realized that the society should be a balance of human personal interest and the common good. And the common good is to do radical changes in their society in political, socio-economic and technological systems, be in harmony among themselves and with other elements of Nature, otherwise other engagements of people will make them wastrels.

If your man misbehave maybe you should exclude them , not the woman.

Agreed.

I'd be all for banning men from stadiums (and even for banning these sorts of spectacles altogether, since their main achievement is to dumb people down).

So you agree with me. :)

Over a football match?

Sahar was probably mentally ill.

Ever the paindu, eh ? You try looking forward to a harsh jail sentence of six months.

Maybe ,or she did not like the prospect of spending 6 months in Jail.

Agreed.

so she decided to commit suicide because she didn't want to do 6 month jail time? lol moment

Not a lol moment at all.

Um no. I get sponsored by protein shake company and sport clothes shop.

And again, evryone decides for himself what he likes to do. Its called freedom.

To take your own doublestandards...you only blame things loved by western people but not your own.

Tea for example is not healthy. In most cases its flooded with pesticides. The farms destroy nature and forests. They need enormous amounts of water and intensify loss of agriculture land.

But for you thats all totally fine since its only important for you. You dismiss others favorites because you see your own as center of the universe.

Man are u that desprate to compare sexual harrasment in chaos vs everyday iran? ATleast we have legal means that prevent the harrasment and woman are allowed goverment places and parliment seats and allowed to vote unlike the iranian utopia for woman rights :haha:
Lolz, I've almost missed this "Gem"

Now you are justifying mass rape in "Chaos"???

There was an uprising in Tunisia, Lybia, Syria, Algeria, Yemen, Morocco, Lebanon, ever heard of a single rape???

Man you are a lost cause ....

.
Hei Indian, tell that to Iranian member. As Indian, you better worried on your own country in relation to your own women safety.

I am enough talking to you
Hey Indos, you missed to tag mods. that is what you do when you lose argument.

There was actually an award wining Iranian feature movie by famous Iranian director Jaffar Panahi , that dealt exactly with this issue .It was about a group of girls who tried to watch a World Cup qualifying match.

The movie name was " Offside ", and it came out in 2006.

Back at a time where movie directors could still make movies freely in Iran ,

Or in other words before the 2009 doomed election when the mullahs starting cracking down much harder on freedom of expression.

I doubt you could make such a movie there today.

Movie can be found now on YouTube , and you can watch it here if you like :

Hei Indian, seems you are not good at interpreting situation.

I never tag mods when I debate with anybody, I tag Mods on your specific post talking about Hijab since as Hindu you cannot interfere in our religion realm. I dont care whether your Hindu religion favors cow so much, so dont interfere in our religion like what you do on Hijab regulation within Islamic faith.

Well you did not answer my question
Afghan talibans are following Islam or not?

Well you did not answer my question
Afghan talibans are following Islam or not?

I have already explained about this many times, even in above post, I dont know why are you so difficult to grabs explanation in my first post in responding to your question, look like I need to spoon feed you all the time

I try to make it clearer here. Afghan taliban sometimes make rules beyond what has already been stated in Quran. We cannot force any one in term of religious practice, whether wearing hijab, praying, and others.

Only in relation with public government can interfere like in marriage, divorce, economy, Halal forced implementation, criminal act, banking system, financial like issuing Shariah bonds etc.

Private things should not be regulated as long as it is still appropriate. In Indonesia we only jail pornographic contents ( the players and the spreaders ), there is law on it. Unlike in many Western countries.

This is the verse in Quran :

1648813606551.png

About women education and working

Islam also is very supportive on education of women, this is why in the first Surah where God reveal His messages to prophet Muhammad, God stated the word "Iqra" or reading, that verse is for all men and women. In Quran there are matematics ( in which Al-Gebra comes from it ), and other sciences so it is clear that becaus Quran is for all human, men and women, what is inside it should be studied as well, like in relation with science.

There is no verse saying women should not work, the Quran verse saying about women staying home is intended to prophet Muhammad wives , this is because prophet Muhammad wifes is stated as mother of all Muslims, there are explanation in other verse as it is sin if we look on prophet Muhammad wives with sexual interest.

OK, now dont debate on what I explain as your are not Muslim and I also dont care with your religion favors on cow

Salar , its how many years you have not lived in Iran ?

Not that long. Furthermore I can compare life in Europe and in Iran. In certain European capitals, we have cases of rape in broad daylight in the midst of locations such as public transports (not some deserted park) before everyone's eyes with nobody daring to intervene to assist the victim, nor to call law enforcement. And so on, and so forth.

well, letsay I don't consider it more before revolution compared to after the revolution .

do you really believe it

It's factual. As confirmed by every single one of my female relatives old enough to have experienced the situation in Iran before and after the victory of the glorious Islamic Revolution. I have heard so many Iranian women describe how the situation changed abruptly after 1979 with the enforcement of Islamic sharia law and Islamic public morals, that hardly a male would dare proceed with inappropriate behavior of this kind. These types were literally shaking in their boots for fear of a Basiji, Sepahi, or Komiteh member grabbing them by their necks and beating the living daylights out of them if they even remotely thought about touching a na-mahram in public. Even a film like the 2007 French animation "Persepolis", which is anything but a PR piece for the Islamic Republic, would gladly acknowledge this and dedicate a specific scene to it.

It's like apples and oranges, really. Women being randomy fondled or addressed with indecent language in crowded places, these types of phenomena used to be much, much more frequent prior to 1979. Western cultural imperialism, hollywoodism, materialism and individualism, systematic assault on the family structure by liberal fifth columnists and their feminist sidekicks, mass access to pornography through the unfiltered internet, and other such extremely hazardous trends have sure contributed to a relative increase in improper sexualized conduct as compared to the 1980's-2000's period. Let's not forget the relative rise in sexually provocative display by women, which is another important contributing factor to the rise of sexual violence at the hands of men. However it's still a far cry from pre-revolutionary conditions or from the norm that under secular regimes of the western and beyond.

- - - - -

really shows the woman utopia of iran

What it shows is that sharia law is enough and in order to guarantee the rights of women, we do not need to import western legal concepts as secular states including Muslim ones are doing. These feminist-, homosexualist- and antispecist-inspired western concepts are tailored to lead ultimately to the destruction and uprooting of family structures, this is their non-avowed goal, along with the dissolution of gender identity etc.

Same as PepsiCo. Although I am not an athlete I know that If you want protein you can eat eggs. I was underweight and my weight increased by 20+ kgs because of eating two egg parathas a day for two months IIRC. A doubly enclosed version of this :

And if you are into private tennis then yes you have valid reason to be sponsored by that shop.

And again, evryone decides for himself what he likes to do. Its called freedom.

I agree but there has to be balance between personal desires / ambition and the common good.

To take your own doublestandards...you only blame things loved by western people but not your own.

PepsiCo and Birkins bags are sold in India too. :)

Tea for example is not healthy.

Why ?

In most cases its flooded with pesticides. The farms destroy nature and forests. They need enormous amounts of water and intensify loss of agriculture land.

I am sure that yucky broccoli requires clearing of forest land and requires much water too :

No, I think about everyone's needs but speak to have a balance of all those needs.

Well sports are super important part of our western culture. More so than in any other part of the world. Look at our olympic games. Public sport events in Europe date back thousands of years.

Btw i dont play tennis. I do athletics. I dont know the english word. And clean protein is good to build up muscle mass. I eat eggs and pancakes too 😁

Thanks for your effort. Whatever you wrote may be relevant 1000 yrs ago. Now they are not compatible with current society. It is not practical anymore.

well before revolution and after it till 1365 my family lived in Ahvaz and now in Tehran , but they say they felt far more safe then , maybe its the city but maybe its something else

Afghan talibans are following Islam or not?
No they are not following true islam.

They are imposing the rules of Islam at state level that islam imposes on just personal level.
For example;beard is advised on personal level but Taliban are imposing it on people at state level.so they are restricting people's personal choices regarding religion.

What rules Taliban can impose on state level are:
Zakat
Prayer
Sexuall harassment rules
And few more.

Beard, eating rules, Hijab, etc are personal rules of Islam.if people will follow them= reward in akhirat
If people will not follow them= punishment in akhirat

State can't impose these rules on people.
As Taliban are extremists, they are imposing even these rules on people. This shows ,they have only surface knowledge about Islam but possess no deep understanding about Islam.

So it's simple as that.
