In a few months Zia-commanded forces killed 25,000 Palestinian Arabs.

In the fifty-seven years 1950-2007 the number of all Arabs killed in the Israel-Arab conflict totaled around 35,000.

And as of 2007 over 90% of the Muslim fatalities in post-1950 armed conflicts were killed by their fellow Muslims.
