Because the secular country was formed on un-secular lines who claimed Muslims after conversion suddenly belonged to different culture and cannot live with other communities which is being proved by Muslims 70 years later. There is a reason why citizenship is not provided to majority communities from neighbouring countries. If a Hindu from Nepal claims refugee status or citizenship it will be declined. Same goes for Pakistan and Bangladesh. Now BD has lots of illegals here and NRC should be implemented to identify and remove them. Do you have a problem with that?

There can be difference of opinion within people of one country or people of one faith. Christianity has plenty of disagreements within, and so does Islam but despite all differences all Christian sub-faiths are Christianity - and all sub-faiths of Islam are Islam. However Christianity and Islam, no matter how much they disagree within themselves, do not mix or stop being different.

Now between Islam and Hinduism differences are polar apart. They are anti-thesis of each other. Hindus cannot accept just one God alone and Muslims do not accept anything other than One God. Their internal divide is polar wide - and it's not just a matter of faiths, these two are two different pattens of life, patterns of beliefs, patterns of behaviours and patterns of existence. Assuming Islam and Hinduism will live together as one Nation would mean water and fire are dwelling together without interfering. This has never happened and will not happen. When "Two Nation" theory received its name, it wasn't that two Nations were created because somebody gave it a name, but this Hindu/Muslim divide is eternal and second Nation separate from Hindu Nation was created the moment someone accepted Islam in the subcontinent.

Now Bangladesh is still part of this two nation theory, even though for political reasons, and for their need to stand different from Pakistan (a false need though), they have stopped speaking about Two Nation theory.
They have not stopped following Islam, but to get a national differential, Bangladesh have stopped relating to "Two Nation Theory" as a verbal choice. Fundamentally they are part of Islam and equally polar from Hinduism of India. They just don't want to look at this angle anymore, but the angle still exist as much as it does for Pakistan.

It was Indian soldiers irrespective of their religion who participated in 1857 Mutiny. The reason why they named and made the already old and ailing Bahadur Shah Zafar as the Emperor and their supreme commander.
