I too like Telugu movies. Since my knowledge Telugu is just kaamchalau, I mainly watch their dubbed Hindi version. Have you seen Hyderabadi movies, they too make some good comedy movies.

They use local comical Hyderabadi Urdu language. watch Angrez, Hyderabadi Nawabs, Hungama in Dubai and Gullu dada. Although I haven't watched Gullu Dada yet. They were low budget but good comedy movies.
