Guns are more common in any city of khyber pakhtunkhua ok it is the only province where all types of guns are manufactured

If you just deweaponise karachi people could just get weapons from other cities how difficult is that

KP's situation cannot be compared to Karachi. Though MQM came to defend the rights of mohajirs, but since its creation it has caused Pakistan and Karachi trillions of $$$ in ecnomic losses.

So if everyone is saying it then MQM becomes a group of good people representing Mohajirs overpowered by thugs and terrorists. MQM is not going to get anywhere with terrorism and killing of fellow Pakistanis.

He's the head of Law enforcement agencies working in karachi, and all the police men in karachi are from either sindh or baluchistan and punjab too, and recently Zulfiqar Mirza has given jobs in police to 3000 gangster of lyari gang war, thats why the situation in karachi is that bad, even some people of karachi says that if entire karachi police is scrapped and sent to home then it would reduce the crime rate, because every incident has police behind in it.

If u still loves karachi police then tell me why the situation is such worse in karachi.

It burns the blood of karachiites to see those anti-karachi people sitting in karachi.
Only solution for the peace of karachi is to elect head of police with the support of karachiites!

I dont understand karachi's problem, it is under iron fist control of MQM yet still there is blood shed ; dont blame your party's problems on people coming from the rest of pakistan. Look at india with all their diversity not a peep, while only 4 ethnicities in Pakistan and what a bloody mess with mqm (and other parties as well) coming on tv always speaking on dividing lines between urdu speaking, mahajir; punjabi etc bulls*** .

Why u people keep saying that MQM has control of karachi? Even one SHO in karachi is not appointed with taking MQM into confidence, thats why situation is worst in karachi! MQM doesnt have any authority over any public/government institution of karachi, MQM just rules the hearts of people of karachi.

I htink you have to see it in its spirit.As a rule deweaponization of Pakistan is a good thing. However, if we start bickering over wheter it would be used selectively , then it has already failed. All policies have to be implemented fairly to be effective. At least MQM has the moral courage to foot a bill that has an impact on the life of the ordinary citizen.

The problem Karachiites have been facing is the rife corruption of the Police and other law enforcement agencies as well as Government officials who are appointed from outside Karachi. I cant tell you how blatantly laws are violated in persuance of money.The irony of it all is that all this money gets invested somewhere else in the form of Jageer. I think you dont see the same problem elsewhere. So Karachiites for jobs in Karachi to ensure that you look after the interests of your community.
This is the idea behind it but whether it will work or not is another thing.

Leaders of Jsqm like Bashir khan qureshi and abdul wahid arisar have no problems with Mqm

Gang wars etc are problems of big cities Karachi is not an agricultural village it is a big city

Voilence like Tribal wars, slaughtering people, burying women alive etc etc are considered a part of pakistani culture in the rest of Pakistan
