Big breakthrough India set to send wheat to Afghanistan via Pakistan

India is trying to lure Afghan Taliban into a trap, in the hope to use them against Pakistan, as they did with all the regimes of Afghanistan, since 1947. Period. As simple as that. There is nothing "humanitarian" in all this farce.

Exactly. How dare they do Business with the "bad terrorists".

We need to publicize and expose these nefarious design of Modi and Hindu India.

People should post this on all their Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp groups.

Afghan trucks will pick the goods from India border.

Initially, pak was not agreeing to afghan / indian trucks carrying wheat.

In the end, it is ok if the wheat is distributed by UN agencies (condition by India, ti which Afghan Taliban agreed).

You must understand that I don't distinguish much between Gandhi and Savarkar or between Nehru and Modi, as far as Muslims of India, or Pakistan, are concerned. By and large, they were same, with slightly different shades. That is what my Quaid told me. I don't agree with the Pakistani posters, who make a distinction.

Only 2500 tons are despatched as a first consignment...of the total 50,000 tons promised.

Initially Pakistan set the proposal that the UN will monitor the program and wheat will be shipped to Afgn. on Pak trucks with UN flags and supervision, that seems fine. India objected to Pakistan trucks...like look Pak will take the credit for it.

Finally Afgn. trucks are used for transportation coming to wagah all the way from Afghanistan.

And I read hundreds of Indian comments like look Pakistan will steal the wheat, shows how lowly they can stoop.

Once a baniya...always a baniya/miser.

So you consider @Joe Shearer to be the other side of @RayOfLight ?

It is a good move by India to help Afghanistan in its time of need. They should also follow up with recognizing the IEA government.

You should set an example, after all you have a border with them and talk endlessly on their behalf.
Pakistan should be the first to recognise IEA "government"

This is humane thing to do. Good step by India & also by Pakistan for sake of Afghan civilians.

I wonder what gave you this thought? Also, did you consider the optics & impact of such a demand?
Just an option, we need to consider all options to stop Pakistan being attacked. Pakistan suffering direct attacks from Afghan soil is unacceptable and we need to get it across to Afghanistan to take it seriously and to take Indian sponsored terrorists to task.
