But Pakistan is almost 11 times smaller too!! Their requirements would be far less.Pakistan-Electricity – total installed capacity: 19.5 GW
he electricity sector in India had an installed capacity of 205.34 Gigawatt (GW) as of June 2012, the world's fifth largest. Captive power plants generate an additional 31.5 GW.
total makes 236 GW
11 times your production!!!!!
oen word for you sir. '' learn''
So you are going to help us learn words?
Say some thing on subject... how can you help?
In Pakistan, people are technologically much more advance than your electricity company.
Solar power systems are being developed by Pakistanis around the globe... go learn.
then enlight me sir why your super country still can only produce just 14000mw?
What sort of bench mark is this?
Govt. does not allow private sector to build power plants.... in some cases it is illegal.
You will go to jail if you build even 500kW solar power at your roof top.
Pakistan sugar mills always have surplus energy but govt. do not allow them to to distribute electricity for free to the neighbouring villages.
I always, knew Indian govt. was behind this game... to capture the market on unfair terms.
Does this means we shall award contracts to bharti contractors?

While I am all for peace and co-operation..
power plants are a very crucial system in national infrastructure..and as such require secure operation.
Such co-operation should be welcomed for those powerplants supplying non-critical sections(residential areas, recreation areas). But in essence should be avoided for industrial and government sectors.

I'm sure all Pakistanis know, how crucial are power plants.
Why shall we co-operate with Indians? they have nothing to offer!
Why shall we not Pakistani contractors?
This is dilemma with Pakistan.... too many moles.
Truth is Indians have learned the advantages of solar power systems from debates on this forum and they want to sell us their scrap! Which they do not need any more!
Pakistan shall discourage oil/gas/coal power plants, it eats out large chunk of forex.
BTW... Do you know govt. is blocking oil and payments of high efficiency IPPs and supplying oil and making payments to low efficiency IPPs.
I was also told by a Pakistani investor, who wanted to build a solar power system, but after lot of blockades... he was conveyed the message... to invest some where else other than producing electricity.
Go visit any industry and ask them how the operate their Gensets, and you will know the truth behind this Indian drive.

Pakistan is about to Enter in Recovery Stage , we need all the power we can get , otherwise we are going to be stuck here , I Welcome all the Sources to solve this Energy crisis of Pakistan , once it is solved we can cruise through the Recovery stage , otherwise the Whole Industry will Collapse , if this situation is not solved in next 2 years.
So as long as the intentions are Good and the Electricity is not linked with any strategic installation , I will welcome any energy source.
