Siasat.PK mods failed to do that. Even people who tried to stop it there mods banned that user and disable their comment. It seems they were in agenda with PTI.We will have to comply if Court orders are provided
For weeks we have been working round the clock to maintain decorum of the forum, keeping the discussion civilized and ensure our platform is not used for propaganda against our institutions or it's leadership....
Mods have been abused, insulted, called names by all corners for doing their job. All we have worked on is to safeguard every member of this forum along with the platform itself so we do not see adverse action it.....
It has been a bumpy ride so far, mods have maintained their calmness and levelheadedness even though they were provoked into making some harsh comments
To be honest this was bound to happen. Many people reported this website that they are mocking Institution head personal and attacking there family children, calling them traitor, venom and hatred pics, some people even wishing chaos in Pakistan and one guy on that forum wish that God Forbid and Allah will never make this happen on but the avatar called Jani said mulk break hoga with Insallah word.
You can insult any Political personality anyway you like or you wish ,however, do not go to Institutional level and there heads.

If your servers are not in Pakistan, you aren’t bound to follow Pakistani court orders. Only the host country’s orders would have to be followed over your site’s data. Might be worth talking to a digital privacy lawyer. We will have to comply if Court orders are provided
They can ban the website in Pakistan - if they claim the website promotes or incited political upheaval- anti sate sentiments or promotes slander. If your servers are not in Pakistan, you aren’t bound to follow Pakistani court orders.

Then they have to make a choice, keep the platform free and fair or be subject to arbitrary censorship by a state with questionable governance.Mod said if do not follow court order than website will be blocked in Pakistan.
Mod clearly said if court ask about ip user than they are bound to give detail. He posted in this topic. Only after court orders. Then they have to make a choice, keep the platform free and fair or be subject to arbitrary censorship by a state with questionable governance.
Today they might ask for IPs of users questioning certain military officers, tomorrow they might ask for IPs of whistleblowers who expose government incompetence or corruption and then they might ask for IPs of political dissidents. It’s a slippery slope and I believe that the leadership team of this site does understand that’s at stake and what consequences their decisions will have.

i have spoken to Adil few times by phone , when Siasat.pk was a releatively new website. I know him for few years now.
He allows far better freedom of speech than most Pakistanis dream about.
You can express your views openly without much moderation. Unfortunately, some people have taken the liberty and started to use foul language. I must admitted I have used "F" words with wrong spellings a couple of times. I condemn such use, including my own use of the word, but what i used could be a fashion label, I wore it often.
As for mention of Jani, he is fine, any suggestions that he is against Pakistan are not accurate. You have to understand many Pakistanis including me are very frustrated how criminals are allowed to rule over Pakistan and use the funds, which should be available for public good.
Anyone who object to breaking up of Pakistan in to parts, should remember the following facts.
1- Bangladesh is now a reality, came in to existence after break up of Pakistan. Many people even here now say, that perhaps same thing done to Mujib and Bengalis to leave Pakistan.
2- Zardari is on the record about "Pakistan Khappe" which was a threat that if you don't give me chance to loot it, I can go the other direction. I am of the opinion, when going gets tough for PPP and they cannot even rig the elections in Sind and go out of power, they would quickly turn against Pakistan.
3- Nawaz Sharif is on the record saying that "jis Rab ko app pojte hain" and we eat Aloo Ghost like you. That; was in essence giving the impression to the Indians we are still part of you. They would love to see the whole of Punjab as one and under their fifedom.
4- I have said to my wife years ago that if Pakistan continue on this path, it would break up and cease to exist. If you have not learn from your past mistakes then you are the biggest fools around. There is no place for fools in this wolrd, they will get what they deserve.
5. Please also remember that map of break up of Pakistan in to 4 parts had been circulating for a long time, hatched by its enemies. But the implementation of those evil designs can be clearly seen. We know for certainity, how many agencies are involved in Baluchistan to make it difficult for Pakistan.
Therefore, my friends, closing your eyes is not going to serve any purpose. Get your heads out, and start to work and think about Pakistan.
Thinking about Pakistan doesn't mean you start toeing official lines given to you as lollipops. Remember because of these contrive lolipops you lost East Pakistan. No one until todate have accepted or given the responsibility of that debacle. If a naiton doesn't learn from its mistakes, its bound to repeat them.
No body in their sane minds would disagree that the country had been thrown to the wolves, those tested individuals who have track record to loot Pakistan.
No good can possibly come out of such action. We all are expecting disaster, we can feel a disaster in the making.
We also know military establishment despite its cry of been neutral is anything but. How in their minds they can justify supporting thugs who should be in jail!!
Even sadder are the comments by CJ SCP. He says don't start cases if you cannot prove them. He should look at the judgements by Pak judiciary and hold his head in shame. In any civilised country, those judges who make such bizzare judgements would be sitting in jail, on corruption charges.
Pakistanis have a right and should criticise the wrong decisions. No one has a God given right to rule over Pakistan, and they surely cannot stop from people speaking and telling the truth, as it is.

Yes on principal I have to agree with this statement despite my own moral stance on the subject. There are reasons for this obviously. The onus is on the website to adhere to Pakistani laws just like Pakistani authorities are for making the website follow the law of the virtual land.

Agreed.I do understand that laws and their technicalities offer instances of exploitation but the argument cannot be used to advocate lawlessness.
Its always been the case that laws are apolitical while their implementations are political.
