Bengladeshi Opinion of Kashmiris

My Opinion:

1. Kashmiri's should have their own independent state.

2. As they are mostly muslims, they will naturally look forward positively towards Pakistan as their well wisher neighbour.

3. A buffer state like Kashmir is still necessary between India and China.

4. India/Pakistan no-one should make them a protectorate state, but Pakistan should be their primary ally for economic, military partner.

Regarding 2), please note that an independent Kashmir will not be a buffer state between India and China. Rather, it will become so between Pakistan and China.

A poor country cannot be a 44th largest economy in the world at US$257 billion (By IMF). If you talk about our per capita, then I will say u will have to improve 15 times tobe contrasted with USA. And, still now our per capita is only half of urs, where this is really a small country. And, Bangladesh presently takes only 2% foreign grants where it was upto 85% on the 90's.

The future of that territory will be decided by India and any Indian national who is unhappy with their citizenship or the policies of their nation is welcome to move to any other country where the manner of governance is suited to their needs. There was a time when Hindustan was the richest country in the world, and Bengal was a region where 1/3rd of its wealth was produced. Don't forget one thing when you start bickering again that your population is only 6 times larger than us, but your land is 22 times larger than us.

If you do not get what does it mean then let me explain further. The above data say that we are producing many times more wealth per sq. km than India. Our small country is feeding about 150 million people. But can India feed 3,000 million people. If not, India is much poorer than us. It always was.

Offtopic but that is a flawed metric to evaluate the per capita wealth production of a land. A better metric is per capita income. Your method of evaluation above doesn't account for industry and trade, just agriculture. Total area and the capability to feed the population are unrelated. If one cant produce enough off their own land, one can always buy if they are rich enough.

My points
1- Independent Kashmir is not feasible in terms of economy or millitarily. Even if it happens it will always be fragile.
2- What make you people think that pakistan is fighting for an independent country when her own citizens are dying???
3- What make you people think that India which is much stronger than pakistan economically and militarilly will let go the kashmir which has lot of strategic importance. India as a country trying to portray itself as aspiring power and it will be a huge negative impact on its power image.
4- How long pakistan can invest in this proxy war on cost of its own development? One time it has to choose between these two.
5- Which nation apart from China going to talk in support of pak. India is a valuabe market for all nation. China too will hold his horses one day due to brilliant foreign policy of India.

Pakistan has no interest in freeing Kashmir other than they want the revenge of 71. The basic funda of their army is two break india like india did to them which i think will die out as new development orinted gen will come into army's picture. Also to break a nation you need either the power to do so or diplomacy to portrait kashmir issue as a severe human rights violation by india(other nations has to buy the theory which is highly unlikely).
