Bengladeshi Opinion of Kashmiris

Hello!

Seeing as Bengal is in quite a unique position in regards to Pakistani-Indian affairs, and has a complicated relationship with both nations, I'd like to know your thoughts on Kashmiris!

I'd love to hear your personnel opinions of Kashmiri's freedom struggle and the Indian response to it. The general opinion of Bangladesh's people towards Kashmir. And any similarity/difference Bengali people feel towards it an 1971.

Our position is pure and simple... let the kashmiri people decide what does they want...So... what we want especially me... a referendum to decide the future of Kashmir by kashmiri people with the mediation of UN and international observer... There should be 3 choice... regarding their decision...

1. want to be part of Pakistan..

2. want to remain under bhartis rule

3. want an independent state


This referendum is also asked by UN... so bhartis must implement that... as it is claimed by the bhartis that they are the biggest democracy in the world... so they should not worry about the referendum... if not they just want to keep colonize kashmir without the will of the local people..

N for pakistan it would be better to launch an international campaign for it instead of supporting groups like Lashkar e Taieba... which does not provide any goods to pakistan instead become a propaganda tools of the bhartis.. n by doing this it will also expose the true face of the bhartis... n to make sure india can not get permanent seat in the UC... until they fulfill the resolution... even to impose sanction in the future... if they continue to defy the resolution of UN..

We want this favor not because our love and sympathy of the kashmiri people as they are regularly discriminated in their own land... but also it will keep the door open in other region where people are discriminated.. specially in NE India.. where bengalis ... bengali muslims in particular are discriminated... within the next decade or 2 they will be majority over there... so referendum option should remain open also for them...

Wish best of luck to the kashmiri people... and NE Indian bengali people hindus and muslims in particular those who has ancestors from present day Bangladesh... to stay tune and spoil all evil deeds of the bhartis until the final day and opportunity comes.....

Well under their new policy..Mods are not tolerating any Kashmir related threads in any other but the Kashmir section ..all other threads are either being locked or deleted.

Since Pakistan and India both believe in democracy, they should let the Kashmiri people decide who they want. Afterall, it is their land, they are born in it.

I think there are 5 parties to kashmir dispute.
1.bangladesh (dues to legacy of partition and legacy of independence)
2.china(due to parts occupied by it and gifted to it)
3.india(parts under it)
4.pakistan(parts under it)
5.kashmiris(actual residents).

Who do you mean by Bengali? First learn to know that we are Bangladeshi. It's our national identity. We do not go by Bengali anymore.

I as a Bangladeshi and most of US with the people of Kashmir. We will support what ever they decide.

So what were results for Punjab, Bengal, and sindh voting in accordance with which sub-continent was to be partitioned? India and pakistan were looking forward to be democracies that time too.

Are you with Kashmiri Pundits too who are facing persecution by hands of terrorists ? Or with people of Ladakh who have totally different culture from any islamic country. Or is just religious bigotry that you jump to decisions without taking into account that in Jammu region around 50% are Hindus and in ladakh lil aroung 50% are Buddhist.

Religious bigotry??? Me or you?? Where did I mention about any religion in my post? I clearly said that we stand by people of Kashmir.

Should be a part of Pakistan. If not possible, then should be an independent state. It must not be any part of India. Indians have different race, religions and culture. And kashimiries have different value unlike Bharatis.

BD? Really? If legacy was a factor, I dont know how many additional parties you could think of.

Lets not even go on the topic of race, unless you need further education on racial differences in the sub-continent. There have been enough threads on race in this forum.

Anyway, how does Bangladeshis opinion on Kashmir matter more than say Azerbaijanis opinion on Kashmir?
