Belgium Burka Ban: Diplomat Rips off Qatari Princess' Niqab

i see this womens illegal activity as worse
she is a foreigner.. in India if a foreigner break a minor law, he/she is usually warned, people/authorities assume innocence/ignorance unless proven otherwise.
also, are not both acts illegal. The dude being an official should know law more than a common foreigner.

No, she showed incredible ignorance and hate. As european we feel threatened and not good if the other person does not show his face. What she did was an insult. Also islamic countries do worse if you break the law there. So? Sure he overreacted. He should have called police to deal with her.

how did she show incredible ignorance and hate? I already said she could be ignorant of local law (only a few countries banned burqa, so she can be excused) but which bit shows hatred.
As I see the guy was consumed with hatred, so much so that he made bodily harm to her, a bigger crime.

its not just loval law. Its european culture. You insult the people if you cover your face. I would not even talk with a person whose face i cant see. In muslim countries wirse things happen when you break law there.

That's an undeniable truth. Muslims everywhere like to think that they are spiritually superior and their way of life superior, and their religion (or at least their understanding of it) is superior. Which adequately explains why they act badly to other sects and other religions.

Ego is the biggest killer of spirituality, and unfortunately, it's the Muslim's bread and butter. If we then apply this mindset to the UK, we have entire communities of Muslims who don't venture outside their homes or their circles, hardly any contact with people of other walks of life, which is a huge economic confinement too. Some young lads, disobey the law where it's convenient, their mindset leads them to believe that any law and rules outside their understand of their religion are wrong and unnecessary. So you are right, but I personally still feel it would be easier to change British Pakistanis than the mindset of all of those Muslim nations.

If any religion people wants to be moderate, then fundamental thing is that you have to be accomdative and accept that there are people of other religion and other sects who are equally have every right to lead a respectable life...This rule is applicable to all religion...If you will try to be 100% religious of your own religion then you start to beleive my God is ultimate and which in turn will create incorrect impression about others..

To be accomdative, you have to be less religious and more spiritual...and unfortunately, for people like me who are not Muslims aways hear -ve news about Islam rather than any positive news...So impression will be created as Islam encourages radicalism...Now think about even PDF too....How many post in a day you will see by posters like Zarvan and with his thought, that Muslim scholars are has made a invention or made some social work for the people or something which is not realted to war/fight and glorifying Islam only...Our PDF is a classic example about the mindset of people...Fortunately, there are still good number of sane people who think differently....

this super sensitivity to european culture is relatively recent phenomena.. and has racial undertone...

Is it affecting Romania?

Recently, unfortunately ...yes.And this is not the issue...my job takes me to Austria in a monthly bases...16h by car as we have open borders and motor highways.,...it's affecting Europe.I know most of you whine about racism but the only racism is from those who come here and create their own world instead of becoming loyal to their benevolent foster parents. It's actually betrayal.-traitors should be shot not given a welfare check.

And,on top of it all, some Qatari piglet gets to be offended after she knowingly defied the law.

Believe it or not i'm actually a very moderate man but,as like the majority of Europeans ,i'm tired of it all."Give, give, give, don't do that, don't be racist, allow this, allow that, respect this, respect that, don't draw this picture of the Prophet, respect this,we should dress like that"...Oh bugger off allready ! Contribute to this society instead of perpetually moaning and asking,i'm not the one coming to the caliphate and trying to make a living.Enough is enough

lol at the people saying let the police take care of the issue. She's Qatar royalty, ie. she would flaunt local laws in the name of diplomatic immunity.

Hatred for Muslims has never bothered me until now, I find it's increasing at an alarming rate.

In fact, it's not just increasing, it's being made public, as if it's a normal political stance to vilify an entire religion and it's followers.
I don't know how the moderate Muslims can do anything to reverse this trend.

I think in one part, it's xenophobia. On the other, I do think the efforts of radical muslims in western countries and their attempt to use the tools given to a citizen by european democracies for free speech, thoughts are abused by these groups.

It's like as if the ecosystem is dominated by the conversation of two fringes just because they shout the loudest.

Right wing parties in Europe wants the people in Europe to see that Muslims are just like the radicals. The Muslim radicals want the Muslims to believe that Europeans, every single one of them behaves like the right wingers.

It's quite fascinating to see the attempt at standardizing your perceived enemies into one camp.Rather than perceive oh Europeans have left wingers, right wingers etc.

You don't want to end up in a situation where it's like Israel where the citizens have acclimated to a condition which belongs in the fringes of most civilized societies.

I think both sides have to make big contributions.

Those countries are out of our jurisdiction unfortunately, the best I can do personally is rant at Pakistanis through platforms such as PDF.

But here in Britain, the British Muslim population has evolved their own methods of pissing off and scaring locals, completely independent of what goes on in Pakistan.

British Muslims need to change their image, need to identify themselves as Brits who hold loyalties to this country. A massive collaborated effort is needed with good publicity, both to change Muslims themselves and change the public opinion of Muslims too.

ah, you actually addressed my previous post here. I didin't see it because it was on the next page.

I agree with this.
