Becoming a developed country by 2041.

@UKBengali and @Homo Sapiens, I am answering for you. BD will have 30,000 USD per capita in 2041, almost equal to Japan. But, its people in Dhaka will still be living under water. BD geniuses cannot even fix any of these problems, but here in the PDF are flattering themselves with a developed BD in 2041. What a amateurish group of people we are!!! They just do not know what a developed country really means and looks. BD should try to achieve this status by working hard for the next millennium, at least.
Seems like you have a big comprehension problem. I, myself never claimed here that Bangladesh is going to be a developed country by 2041. Same with others. Can you show me a single post where I or others in this forum claimed BD is going to be a developed country in 2041? What I am saying is that, this type of ambitious plan will motivate them to formulate a clear-cut, specific direction of economy which will help to retain/accelerate the high growth.Theoretically it is possible to attain 12735 dollar per capita income by 2041 with 10 percent growth rate, but it will be very difficult as our country is still not ready for 10 percent growth. So it is within the realm of possibility but seems unlikely in current scenario. In 2016, according to world Bank, our per capita income was 1330 dollar, suppose with business as usual strategy it touch to 4000 dollar by 2041. If the govt. can farther increase it by just 1000 dollar by cultivating this 'vision' with proper strategy then I will think their 2041 rhetoric is successful. We are betting on the policy-guideline for growth under formulation, not the ultimate object. Why it is so difficult for you to understand this stance of us?

Why personal attack? Why do not you come up with a special economic theory that will prove BD will become a developed country by 2041. Have you already read the development history of Europe, US and Japan? If yes, then it is time you read how China is still struggling with its own development and does not claim itself to be a developed country. Read and then vomit your knowledge. Now, when BD will graduate from an LDC? It will take at least 10 more years in 2028. So, when is 2041? Is it 5 Centuries after 2018? A BD style of fator fator will not help the country. Read and talk.
Completely ignoring the literal obvious main part of my reply and regurgitating same label sh*t? Which one do you care more, that BD has same economy as a developed one or the label of one? Does BD have economy like or better than PK? Than if PK tag is not LDC and BD's is then why is the tag bothering you? It seems as if, if UN says BD is developed tomorrow with anything matching reality, you will praising Bangladesh for that tag. I am done with you on this thread until you stop with selective reply and ignore the obvious main part of my post.

@UKBengali and @Homo Sapiens, I am answering for you. BD will have 30,000 USD per capita in 2041, almost equal to Japan.
The way Japan is going down in economy, they'll probably reach BD before BD reaches them.

And what do you mean by long term potential growth reduction effect?
Do you mean that growth is supposed to slow down after a certain time. Like USA has low growth because to less new scope/sectors for growth.

Yes. As development increases, fewer and fewer resources are left to tap to create only more production (rather than inflation)....given the very nature of resources (they are not all equally transferable over time etc) and the opportunity costs of using them.

If you want you can read up the Aggregate Demand and Supply theory, this will illustrate what I am saying.

Economists failed to predict the last global financial crisis of 2008. Many countries including a handful of EU had be bailed out. USA survived because they have the unique ability to print unlimited green backs which they call 'quantitative ease'. Economics is far from being a science like Physics. It deals probabilities. There are lots of variables which are beyond anyone's control. A severe credit crunch in some Asian countries are waiting to explode.
