oh sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. i would love to go to Iran then

is it sweet or salty? normally we have both here in Pakistan but I prefer sweet lassi or doogh - how do you write it in farsi? is it something like that

and I had never heard of a sweet version before!! I'm positive that we only have the salty version (VERY SALTY VERSION actually lol).
We usually drink it with dry mint.
Also you can buy the carbonated version which is my favorite.

Very difficult question.
Iran has changed time and time again in the past century and I can't really answer that. At one time Hijab was banned in Iran. Women would be stopped in the street and where asked to take off their veils!!
The big "bad" shah was actually the one that stopped the ban on hijab!
Also I'll give you an example. My grandmother married at age 15 and after her husband died she married a younger man!!! That was taboo and it still is kind of taboo for an old widow to marry a younger man but it happened.

we normally add 7-up or sprite in milk to make carbonated drink and it's called Doodh Soda in Pakistan - Doodh = Milk

Oh, you need to try sweet one, it's yummy - we sometime mix mangoes with it too to make it mango lassi

You said that INDIANS and PAKISTANIS are NOT same.. you created 4 threads on that... at the time of Indus Valley Civilization .. Pakistan was occupied by Dravidian people...

then how come all of sudden Pakistanis started to look different from Indians... ? when NO intermixing happened with the people from the Westwards of Pakistan.

So in a way you are trying to say before 1900's.. there was no intermixing between East and West.. and all of a sudden AFTER 1900s... Pakistanis started to look different from Indians?
