You guys are not going to compete with them for a long because they are opening now for a huge economic boom plus they don't have problem of population explosion. Unlike Bangladesh, their country is rich in resources and all major economies like India, China, US, EU are interested in huge investments in Myanmar.

Mayanmar is a military state like North Korea. They probably spend half of their GDP for their army. When central asian nomadic tribes conquered much of sedentary societies East, West and South, they weren't particularly rich and growing.

Huge boom? Oh yea their 1% GDP growth proves that...... As for population explosion there are five stage of it. 1st Stage stationary( high birth rate , high death rate, south asia was in this stage in 1920) 2nd stage early expanding( high birth rate, declining death rate) , 3rd stage late expanding( birth rate starts to decline and declining death rate, bd china india in this stage) 4th stage stationary ( declining birth rate and death rate uk in this stage) , 5th stage declining( death rate is higher than birth rate, germany)! So no worries... Population is okay in Bangladesh....

Keep on Watching about Myanmar's resurgence and Bangladesh has population density equivalent to megacities the world. Anyway, Myanmar is not my country, but we Indians definitely trying to maintain 8-10% GDP growth rate and that's seems optimistic for us. But I knew Bangladesh have 6% GDP growth, how come you made it 7% growth rate.
