BBC: Why are India's air force planes falling out of the sky?

. .
it is because those fucking Britain drawed the Mcmahone line that make China and India can't live in peace. now they try to promote the fighters by taking China as threat.

GTFO you looters.
how US used pak to break soviet now they trying india for china.. if you look at their recent nuclear deals and india is buying weapon from us. it shows their intention.
but it wont happen china is not russia and india is no Pakistan.
we love and care for our friend
long live pak china friendship

How many aircraft has the IAF lost this year?
If I remember correctly,a Jaguar crashed, with pilots ejecting safely earlier this year. So this must be the second crash this year. However, this MKI doesn't look like a total write off.

.
It is because indian air force is no way near the professional level of world class air forces like IDAF (Israeli Air Force), PAF (Pakistan Air Force), USAF (United States Air Force), and RAF (United Kingdom Royal Air Force) etc.

indian air force is big..bulky...slow...force with bureaucratic burden, corruption, and incompetence.

Facts speak for themselves.

PAF is operating F-16s for over 34 years now! How many crashes?

PAF's latest JF-17 Thunder has done 15,000 flight hours+ and only one crashed (that too, due to human error of ground staff)...

I wish Pakistan and india were friends...We would love to train indian pilots and ground staff so there is no loss of life in india.
proof of jf-17's "15,000 +" flight hours? And you guys call yourself professional. Then why don't you dare to take us on in red flag. You are seriously making fun of your AF by comparing with USAF and others. Even Angola's AF is better than you with 20-30 Mi-35s.

So exactly which type of moron are you kid?

Don't you even know that PAF operates barely 80 F16s and 50 brand new JF17s while IAF operates well over 200 MKIs? If your PAF is so great why your Mirages and Super Mushaks keep crashing every month? Brain dead much? And who the hell told you that JF17 has done 15000+ flight hours? Don't you know the difference between Sorties and flight hours? You don't such basic things and you are talking about IAF? Keep your so called "professional" PAF to yourself, and ask yourself where was their their professionalism during OBL raid or Salala attack. We don't want to be preached by you.

Not moron, just a guy who states as it is...and who isn't a delusional, poor hindu like yourself who lives in delusions.

This doesn't prove anything!

PAF has been operating F-16s for 34 years!! And F-16s crash rate is much, much lower than iaf's su-30mki..even though iaf is operating it for barely 15 years.

If your PAF is so great why your Mirages and Super Mushaks keep crashing every month? Brain dead much?

Everymonth? lol, PAF isn't iaf..and we don't have "flying coffins" like iaf's migs...

Moreover, Mirage is like 45 year old aircraft! The very fact we are still flying mirages--who are way past their flight time--speaks volume of our professionalism.

PAF's mirages in top polished condition...Remember this is a 40 year old jet...

What does Salala (border post helicopter attack) and OBL raid (commando raid of our ally against our mutual enemy) has to do with PAF?

PAF works on orders. There were no orders to engage NATO/U.S, and hence PAF didn't.

But we all know what happened when PAF got orders to engage indians, Afghans, and Soviets.

We thrashed all of them in different engagements.

This is what happened when iaf last tried to sneak in its advance Israeli-made micro drone in the middle of dark night..

So 4 fighters in 10 months, if I didn't missed a report, but clearly far away from the rates claimed in the media.
