Those magazine has to just increase their sale by presenting the truth in most controversial way as possible,,The truth lies way away from it....
They do not bother why Krishna is portrayed Blue (Vishnu avatar),,,they just say he was darked skined but portrayed blue ,,just to strengthen their wrong POV

The thing about fair skin preference if its a sexual preference, thats okay. To each their own. But if that culminates into who you hire, who you prefer to casually socialize with, interact with, trade with, then there's a problem.

Hadd hai,,I am saying these reports are far from reality...They do not represent the view of more then 1/6 populations of the world (what we call indian)
They just want new masala reports,,They are far from reality....

Colourism is really weak in india....
I am not saying it is not present but its influence on people is very less,,even the casteism (which is on the verge of finishing in most parts) has more impact on some people then colour

Do you really think Asim thats the case in indian society? This whole thread is making no sense at all.
And whats ironic is jinxxed gal is commenting about racism and bias to looks,
lol

.
No seriously, in Scotland or rather mainland UK, whatever the reason, racism exists just below the surface, touch wood i haven't experienced any worst, but how could countries such as India practice this against people with darker skin. What ever we may be called in the Western societies, surely a victim in one place can't be the oppressor elsewhere.
