By saying Jesus is only a prophet and not the Son of God is insulting. But I guess it is fine if Muslims insults, right ?
Jesus PBUH is more than just a prophet, he is the sign of an immaculate birth a miracle of God all mighty. In the Quran ayat 16-21: the Holy Spirit, tella Mary ( blessings and peace be upon her name) of her conception and the gald tidings of a boy.
Jesus (PBUH) will be the last to be questioned for intermission before Mohammed PBUH will intercede for mankind and their forgiveness on the day of heaven.
Jesus was given the power by the Holy Spirit to bring the dead back to life, no mere trickery.
The only difference between the testament and the Quran is that of the trinity. For how can the spirit of God, for by mortal hands?
If God had a son, how could mortal hands kill that son? Yes the Romans did crucify Jesus (PBUH) but for muslims he was never killed on the cross, his spirit was claimed by God leaving only his mortal body on earth.
People think of prophets as some lowly title, nay to muslims all prophets from lot to Isaac to Ishmael to Moses to Abraham to Mohammed said etc, all are sacred.
Yes Mr. gambit you have a valid point in so much as a devoute Catholic would take great exception at the repudiation of the trinity, and surely this would cause then offence and you would be right.
At the end of the day, we will always be impressed and upset by thinks people say, be it the study of Swami vivekanada on Mohammed and his life or the cartoons drawn in France.
You call him Jahova, to me he is allah to others he is Ellahi, but he is rab to all of us.
Anyway I just wanted to say, that please don't for one moment think that just becaus we use the term prophet for Jesus (PBUH) that this is a lowly designation, it is quite the opposite.
