I would say that both sides committed atrocities on equal proportions, what Nazis did in Stalingrad & Leningrad cannot be ignored and thats why what Red Army did later is tit for tat for Nazis.
People of Soviet Russia sacrificed alot for this victory, losing a considerable proportion of population.

I'm intrested in that, cause I found information on the French and American army that acted like animals, but only the red army is blamed.

99% of tales about Red Army were invented by Goebbels even before Red Army reach the Nazi territory. It was made to strengthen the German defense and to incite hatred toward Soviet soldiers. After the Cold War started West just began to repeat propaganda tales of Goebbels.

I used to be one of those Wehraboos. That believed that Germany committed no war cimes all this bullcrap also how Germany was superior to the Russians.

But now I grown up. Really all I can say is Germany deserved it I know the Soviets committed some awful crimes but I cant blame them the Germans literally planned on wiping them out not to mention the rapes, destruction and starvation they caused on the people of the Soviet Union.

I can see why the Soviets had no mercy for the Germans and the Nazis after the shit they done to their homeland.

A lot of wehraboos can make up some bullshit myths. Germany caused the war they should suck it up. Yes it true there is a lot of factors that caused ww2 not just Germany to blame. But Germany started it off by invading Poland and then dragging nearly every nation and causing the destruction of so many land in Europe, Middle East, North Africa and many more.

Germany could have been stopped if the British and the French had a bit more balls.
