Norwegians rants are ----
Yeah?

Ive noticed this guy time and again..doesn't miss a chance to take cheap shots at Pakistan or Islam.
Cheap shots? I have taken all my shots with valid and quite a number of sources. :D

Next time don't spread LIES about Islam!
It's an undisputed fact that Muslims used to raid Meccan trading caravans. That's why Abu Sufyan had to call in Meccan army for protection. Meccans should have gone home after safe passage of that caravan. Yet, they stayed believing they could neutralize future threats posing their caravans by defeating Muslims at the battle. They lost. End of story.

.
The battle of Badr some say it was because of looting of Meccan caravans by Muslims, some argue that the goods infact belong to Muslims which are being sold by Meccans.

But based on the history, the battle occurred only after repeated attacks by Muslims on Meccan caravans

These are historically inaccurate. I've just challenged @Norwegian the account she's copied and pasted an alleging it is from Muslim biographers like ibn Hisham and Ibn Ishaq is a LIE!

.
Fact is muslims are/were barbarians since the beginning. Religion that spreads through the sword is nothing to be proud of
Lol, go back to the rock you slithered from and learn history instead of barking nonsense.

Its not a lie. Here is the earliest source of the caravan raids:
[Ibn Ishaq and Ibn Hisham Sirat Rasul Allah, p. 95, translation by Folio Society]
The life of Muhammad, Apostle of Allah - ʻAbd al-Malik Ibn Hishām - Google Books
The Life of Muhammad: Al-Waqidi's Kitab Al-Maghazi - Rizwi Faizer - Google Books

Undisputed FACT is your LYING claiming there is an account in Ibn Hisham or Ibn Ishaq. I know the real account of the biography of the nabi as'salaathu was'salaam. I want to focus on your lies, not just to us, but LYING about the two esteemed Muslim authors Ibn Hisham and Ibn Ishaq rahim'Allah.

We study this Seerah in Madarasa and ibn Hisham and ibn Ishaq.

Apologise to us!

Of course these facts are quoted from the Muslim sources:

The Factors Which Led To The Battle Of Badr

If they really wished to survive, all they had to do was stop raiding Meccan trading caravans!

Mashallah. All thanks to armed Jihad.

Yes, and that's how we know so much about the events that led to Battle of Badr and other Ghazwats that followed.

"We"? It wasn't you but Arab nomads.

Ditto.

Battle of Thermopylae was a similar battle, in which vastly outnumbered greeks managed to defeat invading persian army with humiliation:
The Battle of Thermopylae

So this is how you "break" an economic blockade by raiding their trading caravans for booty? LOL! :D

So they disagreed with the Holy Prophet (SAW) regarding the battle strategy and were branded hypocrites. Sounds dictatorship.

I have read it all.

When all idols were crushed following the fall of Mecca?

So illiterate and uneducated persons can't prophesize? Ever heard of Our Lady Fatima and Miracle of the Sun? It was prophesied by some christian children, and it came true:
Our Lady of Fátima - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The fact of the matter is that all of his prophecies are coming true. He isn't prophesying one or two things he did many. And these were unimaginable ones and you wouldn't even think of them. There is one part of prophethood that still remains and that is dreams.

. .
Apologise to those authors I have quoted above. The account of caravan raids is well documented in those books.
What in realy you doing is you are reading Norwigian or English translations of those books hence the problem arises...Arabic language is very complected hence to get the real translation becomes more challenging...

No one is questioning prophecies of the Holy Prophet (SAW). The topic on hand is Battle of Badr, its strategic significance, its background etc.

Muslims cursed the Meccan gods and also went against their beliefs, reason why muslims were persecuted and had to leave Mecca.

It was muslims who provoked Meccans. Meccans brought many proposals infront of the Prophet but the Prophet rejected and also rejected/insulted the old Meccan traditions.

The battle of Badr some say it was because of looting of Meccan caravans by Muslims, some argue that the goods infact belong to Muslims which are being sold by Meccans.

But based on the history, the battle occurred only after repeated attacks by Muslims on Meccan caravans .

you see your post is based on some sketchy information and you formed your opinion upon it. I have no issue with that as long as your POV is purely academic and doesnt have a hidden motive of causing an offence.

the trail of events if you like are similar to other Ibrahamic faiths. the Messenger and his followers are always persecuted because he breaks the status quo.

your statement, it was Muslims who provoked the Meccans is like saying it was Jews who provoked the German Nazis (a belief still held among the far right fascists in the west). like the previous prophets Muhammad PBUH spoke against the injustice and presented an alternative set of belifs, the Meccans chose to be provoked or offended instead of listening to him yet another natural reaction powered by self interest and fear of loosing power.

I mean Meccans were bound to be "provoked" when their own fellow Meccan from a respected family and clan said that poor and rich, Arabs and Non- Arabs were same ..that was utterly unthinkable and blasphemous for the rich and mighty,
as for Meccans coming with offers to Muhammad PBUH to give up his beliefs is concerned then that too is also not something noble. any rich and mighty tried bribe or coercion to get his way. they tried that too although in the same time they were persecuting the Muslims through torture, boycott , harassments and exclusions.

your final statement needs some verification. Muslims had never ever fought or attacked before Badr so raiding Meccan caravans was out of question, it was infact Abu Sufyan one of the influential member of Meccan elite who saw an opportunity to destroy Muslims through a false accusation of attack on his caravan which was never attacked. he duped his own allies who came rushing to his aid when it was not needed but then decided to stay and finish off the Muslims.

A dialogue is very interesting between him and an another meccan who says "know your honor Abu Sufyan" then Abu Sufyan says "my honor is on the back of my camels" (meaning its all about money and power / honor that brings)

No one is questioning prophecies of the Holy Prophet (SAW). The topic on hand is Battle of Badr, its strategic significance, its background etc.
it was a modest skirmish but a stepping stone that set things in motion. although its victory didnt deter the siege of madina and the defeat of Ohd but it set Muslims course. Badr was thee first practical display of hostilities where former friends, brothers, slaves and masters fathers and sons came across each other as mortal enemies,

Yepp. Baha'is and Qadianis for example.

The first division caused by or because of newly established Islamic faith.
