Battle of ALCMs : BrahMos A vs Pakistan’s Ra’ad

Yep, considering previous record of DRDO- successful programs including Agni V, K-4 SLBM, BMD & Astra- I'm sure it'll be a success. BTW, how many other countries have 2 independent scramjet programs ?

And we start talking about weapon systems long before they come into existence- that's because complex weapon systems will take several years to develop & mature. We are also drawing on our previous experience -we don't usually receive pre-tested systems/ matured technology from elsewhere.
BMD and Astra yet to be operational. We all know very well of successful story of tejas and host of other project. Let's not feel so butthurrt here now

Yes when it see the light if the day then talk. Until then for me considering the previous pathetic attempt by DRDO and its record, its b.s. for me no offence though

I hope you guys don't say the Barak systems are Indian systems like the Brahmos.

It's JV.

Like Brahmos we have intellectual Patent rights filed for certain technologies including main seeker developed by BEL

We have research literature and published papers

As for the topic, completely pointless comparison. The Ra'ad is a subsonic cruise missile while the Brahmos is a supersonic. Currently, Indian Air Force has no equivalent system to Ra'ad while Chinese origin supersonic missiles like the CX-1 and CM-400 cruise missiles in service with Pakistan are comparable to the Brahmos.

In the long run, Pakistan should pay attention to the Chinese WU-14 hypersonic delievery systems that touch Mach 10.

Brahmos is already integrated with Sukhoi-30 if you followed the news lately

India already posses Russian origin
Like

Kh-55.

And KH-59

Chinese CX-1 already in prototype stage Talk me when it get inducted

LMAO.
India has dozens of Kh-59ME and KH-59MK2 air launched cruise missiles.
Kh-59ME was inducted 15 years back.
Guy Completely has No Idea That's The Problem With Such Trolls they Come here unprepared Without Factual Arguments

Laughable none sense. The only thing Indian about the Barak is the Patel that fires it.

India has strong missile/rocket technology base but you guys embarrass yourself when you claim the Barak and Russian reconfigured P-800 P-800 Oniks as somehow Indian weapons. It is pathetic.

Brahmos might be. Good but military technology doesn't end at brahmos Pakistan can acquire Chinese DF 21 which will deny Indian ships atleast far away so only IAF has capabilities to launch them we just need more jets to counter SU 30 with brahmos we need SU 35 to counter this threat

Only one behaving in a butt-hurt manner here, is you. You tried to troll, claiming that every Indian program is a failure, and got owned for it.

BMD & Astra are close to being operational & even developing a BMD system is an achievement in itself.

Tejas? Last time I checked, it was inducted in the air force with further improvements already underway. Seems you guys have developed some sort of 'tunnel vision' after focusing too much on our temporary set backs. See, many Pakistani members who trolled ISRO in the 2012 gslv failure thread might be unaware of the fact that India was able to iron out the kinks in the gslv/cryo engine design & gslv made its successful flight in January 2014. Likewise, we are open about our R&D programs.

Needless to say, we have a credible industrial ecosystem for production of Brahmos- comprising of PSUs like HAL & ECIL, private sector giants like Godrej and L&T,MSME like Astra & Data Patterns. I would like to see the industrial infrastructure on the other side of the border.

Says everything !
Tejas after 3 decades

Sure, how many other countries have developed a 4+ gen fighter aircraft in 27 years , without adequate experience or infrastructure? (Including the 3 years without approval of funding).

BTW Astra has undergone user trials with the IAF.
