I think there were 2 major issues
1) The survanshis, chandravanshis and agnivanshis always fought defensive campaigns.
2) The caste divide kept many away from joining armies (i dont think kshatriyas would 've fought along with shudras, Marathas were an exception).


There's a famous tower too, vijay stambh.

Rajputs failed most of the times fighting the invaders.

They also have no good strategy of empire building. Also at that time these guys are limited to their small kingdoms and fought with each other.

Claim is not the best word. The Konzentrationslager are still maintained by Poland for example. There are similar examples everywhere. Ask an Indian to choose between Taj Mahal and Bharat Mata, 85% of the people will chose Bharat Mata.
