I'm really feeling this last stand thing.
Some great known ones maybe like thermopylae, saragarhi,camaron,little big horn,shiroyama can be done?
Others like mariana 1944 in the pacific,brest fortress 1941.
One thing with last stands however is they may sometimes be tactically one sided,but very fun to read.

The maps were the USP of those threads, with the help of maps it was easy to understand the strategy(or the lack of it as in this case.)
