Why were rest of Pakistanis sleeping when the Pakistan Government and extremists were persecuting Ahmadi Muslims. Don't take it wrong, its good you have woken up against religious extremism but is it not too late? They are all ready surrounding Karachi. Their madarsas are located in each and every Pakistani Cities and Towns. I believe they are working for a violent revolution. To them Pakistan isn't Islamic enough.

My honest opinion is that things will eventually get out of control for Government and the Army. I fear sparks of Civil War has been ignited in Pakistan. I guess we just have to have hope right?

Basically Deubandi movement was a reformist movement in Brelvi denomination which was inspired from Salafi beliefs.
Simply putting
Deubandi Beliefs= Some Brelivi Beliefs+Some Salafi Beliefs

The first Islamic seminary of the Barelvi movement was founded in 1904 in Bareilly by Ahmed Raza Khan . Barelvi movement was a reactionary movement to the reformist attempts of the Deoband movement (The foundation of Darul Uloom Deoband was laid on 30 May 1866.) against sufiism and folk Islam practices in India .

Deobandi Beliefs= very few Brelivi Beliefs+ mostly Salafi Beliefs (in practice)

LAHORE: Forming a sort of anti-Taliban alliance, at least 50 Barelvi school of thought groups have demanded the government declare extremists as well as their supporters, whether political or religious, as enemies of the state and traitors.

The demand came at a multi-party conference held under the banner of Tahaffuz Namoos-i-Risalat Mahaz here on Wednesday.

MQM leader Abdul Haseeb, Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen leader Nasir Abbas Sherazi and a PML-Q delegation participated on special invitation.

“Patronizing and supporting the Taliban should be declared a serious crime against the state and those found guilty of the criminal act be dealt with an iron hand and given exemplary punishment to eliminate militancy from the country,” read the joint communiqué issued at the end of the gathering.

Opposing talks with the Taliban, it sought closure of the dialogue chapter for good since, what it said, the policy had badly failed and that an all-out war was the only option to establish peace.

“Negotiations with banned outfits are unconstitutional… the army should be given a free hand to crush terrorists and the operation should continue until elimination of the last terrorist.”

It asserted that entire nation was unanimously standing behind the armed forces and the government for crushing Taliban through a decisive military operation.

Directly attacking the Jamaat-i-Islami and JUI, both religious outfits having influence in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, it termed them political wings of the Taliban.

The conference decided to launch a countrywide “Go Taliban Go” drive and observe Friday (Feb 28) as the Anti-Taliban day.

Welcoming the support for army operation by the MQM, MWM, PML-Q and Tehrik-i-Insaf, the communiqué said the nation and patriotic parties were unanimous on eliminating the Taliban.

Alleging that the terrorists active within the country were being patronized by the US from Afghanistan, it demanded that Kabul should hand over all wanted terrorists to Islamabad and stop allowing the use of its territories against Pakistan.

Prominent among the participants were former federal minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi, Sunni Ittehad Council chief Hamid Raza, Sunni Tehrik chief Sarwat Ijaz Qadri, Jamia Naeemia’s Allama Raghib Hussain Naeemi, TNRM president Razaul Mustafa Naqshbandi, Almi Tanzim Ahle Sunnat chief Pir Afzal Qadri, Mufti Muhammad Khan Qadri, JUP Sawad Azam chief Pir Mehfooz Mashadi.

But I don't know why Ahmadis are so desperate to call themselves muslims. I mean Shia, Ismaili, Bohri, Barelvi, Deubandi, Salafi are all considered muslim to each other. Debate !!?? slaughtering other sects in scores which is precisely whats happening all over the country isnt a one its a genocide , Ahmedis are done with , now its shias than barelvis and sufis are in line. This wont stop , so please religious issues should be left to the mosque and not brought in state business and thats what the point i was trying to make.

The Pew Forum only collected statistics on who thinks Ahmadis are Muslims from the five countries mentioned above. Now a common allegation by the same anti-Ahmadiyya site and the same anti-Ahmadiyya leader mentioned above is that the 'normative tradition' of Muslims (whatever that nonsensical terminology is supposed to mean) have every right to call Ahmadi Muslims kafir as they have 'unanimously' agreed upon this. However, the statistics show that none of the 5 countries Muslim population 'unanimously' agree on Ahmadis being non-Muslim. In fact, apart from Pakistan and Indonesia, the majority of Muslims do not consider Ahmadi Muslims to be kafir. Furthermore, the statistics show that in some cases the number who consider Ahmadis to be non-Muslims is similar to the number who consider other sects to be non-Muslim. In fact, in Malaysia more Muslims declare Shias and Sufis to be non-Muslim than declare Ahmadis non-Muslim! We think the anti-Ahmadiyya websites and leaders- by their own stupid 'logic'that we completely condemn and disagree with- are now obliged to declare all the poor Shias and all the poor Sufis of the world to be non-Muslims!
