Barbaric Gujrat Massacre - The Truth Behind The Story

The massacre wasn't a spontanious response of the killing of the 59 hindus in Godhra.
But as we see in the report the operation was mapped out carefully at special meetings by hindu nationalists. It was a revenge!

"We sat all night to choose a panel of lawyers.
We planned.
If an injured hindu goes to a public hospital...how are we to help?
We made a complete plan, almost a jihad.
It's as if we began a Hindu jihad.
And in that we succeeded in Gujarat".

"The Muslims have played a one day match with us. You know one dayers?
They set us a target of 60 runs. (Referring to 59 kills at Godhra)
We must win this match at all costs!
We can't stop untill we make 600 runs!!!
And thats how I put it".

Victoms and Human Rights Groups have long suspected the authorities to be involved in the riots. Many of the people Tehelka filmed confirm police, politiciancs, lawyers and even judges took part in planning and excuting the massacres and then covering them up afterwords.
Ashish Ketan says they all belonged to the Right Wing Hindu Group who control the state. :disagree:

Watch Harish Bhatt's confession on hidden camera. He was one of most senior person's caught on Tehelka's undercover reporter.
Move to 16.00

Harish Bhatt says that after the Hindu Pelgrims were attacked at Godhra, he attended a meeting with the Chief Minister, Narendra Modi.
He allowed three days of free killings!

Self confessed murderer Bajrangi got out of Jail with the help of Modi who changed the judges. Previous two judges were pleading for a death sentence.

In actual truth, the planning for this operation targetting muslims had been going on for months.

the incident at Godhra, where Hindu hard liners had been chanting slogans about the Ayodhya mosque attack, brandishing Trishuls and shouting at people in a drunken rage, and one yatri had allegedly molested a young girl at a tea stall, subsequently led to a group of local vigilantes challenging the saffron wearing drunkards on the carriage train. The vigilantes even had a member of Parliament (if i remember correctly) with them, because they had heard of the molestation of the said girl.

In the ensuing scuffle, somehow the train caught fire, and those people died.

This incident was used as a pretext to move into gear their pre planned, officially orchestrated campaign of looting, raping, pillaging and killing.

All a usual day in the life of the secular Republic of India.

After seing what I saw on the hidden camera, I'd be not surprised if the train was lit by BJP terrorists as part of the plan. After all the plan was to kill atleast 10 muslims for each hindu. Big gian for BJP terrorists.

In the end, it was closer to 100 Muslims for each Hindu...The reports of 2000 plus by Bharatiya NGOs are a gross underestimation, I think.

Indeed, even one of the guys in the hidden camera tells us that the real figure is much higher.

I must disagree Neo, I was there the whole time in gujarat. The massacre was a spontenous reaction, first at the cities than later on led to villages (which was first time in gujarat). The extension of the riot was led by fundametalist hindu's, but the initially it was spontanious. I do agree that if the cops stop them, it would have not lasted for three days or so. But I do remember at that time there were communial tension that was brewing amongst the people regarding this babri mushjid.

Did you watch the video and the confessions on hidden camera about full planning? Its may or may not have started spontaniously but it was certainly well planned as it seems. :coffee:

Yes I have, This is the problem Neo, The Hindu fundametalist where the problem in this massacure, but they came after because they saw an opportunity in the situation. I remember it really well, I was in ahemdabad, where they made the crowd so large that it was very hard for the police to handle them. Where I blame modi or the gov't is next day, they should of had the army in place to stop them, but I believe the army arrived three days to late.

In the riots the rioters where on a rampage of distruction, not only killing, they pilaged business that where on C.G. Road (the high end shopping district). I saw people on bikes trying to carry a expensive sofas, stealing cloths, etc....

What the hindu fadametalist did is apparently they had this ******* sleeping cell in villages, where they did the most damage, where the muslims had to leave the village for there safety, but all the killing only happend in the cities and on the ******* highways, where this guys would stop any cars and would ask you if where muslim or hindu. In the highway both where doing this muslims as well as hindu's. It look like a war zone on the highway with burnt trucks and cars.

All in all, from that moment it did change Gujarat from what I know now. The segration is more apparent in gujarat, not interms of business but more towards where you live.

State governments don't control the appointments of judges. As for other alleged witnesses captured on supposedly hidden cameras, their credibility will be examined by Courts. Incidentally, the trials are being held outside Gujarat. We have already seen how a number of wild allegations have been proven false after investigations.

As regards casualty figures of 300 Hindus and 800 Muslims , they are from the Central Home Ministry, controlled by opponents of Modi.

Any innocent death is regrettable, but to understand the reaction, you should try to imagine what would happen to minorities in Pakistan if they burnt to death 59 Madrassa students.

Some people here seem to be more worked up about Gujarat than they are about far worse events in their own country. In fact, they seem more worked up about Gujarat than Gujarati Muslims themselves, many of whom are supporting Modi after having seen an improvement in the quality of their lives.

See the other problem in this equation is what people do not realise is the rioting was done by the very poor and uneducated population, and majority of the killings happened in those area. I have a sister (not biological), she is a muslim and lived in ahemdabad, her family where not affected by these riots because of the area (well to do area). It was very easy for the Hindu fundametalist to make these people do for there bidding. And unfortunently they where successful, and brag about it later.

Not really. It seems like most Indians and the politicians are more worked up about cross border terrorism than the attrocities commited in homeland at the hands of powerful hindutva lobby. Compared to Gujarat Massacre the Mumbai episode seems like a child play yet your politicians and media don't mis a single opportunity to be vocal about it but when it comes to Gujarat you produce thousands of excuses to blame it on communal tensions, poverty and illdevelopment.

If only your governement had put so much work in Gujarat's case terrorists like Bajrangi and Modi would have been hanged.
