Barack Obama 'deliberately snubbed' by Chinese in chaotic arrival at G20

Ryan Lochte anyone???
"it was them Brazilian I tell ya. ya, they pretend to be cops and stole me money. ya, and now they say I'm liar. "

Instead of trying to divert attention to Fox News, explain what was the point of your government changing plans at the last minutes without informing US.
China snubbed your President. What are you going to do about it? What is a South Vietnamese going to do about it?

. . .
respect is earned. no sense treating Yankees like an idol. definitely a symbolic gesture for the beginning of the end for yankee world domination
So the American and the Chinese security services had a prior agreement that the US President would be able to use American hardware to disembark Air Force One. How is that agreement between security professionals equates to treating a visitor like an idol ?

Western media lack professionalism in “making up news based on their own assumptions” on G20 “staircase snub” for Obama: FM spokesperson

September 06, 2016

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying has accused western media of a lack of professionalism in “making up news based on their own assumptions” about US President Barack Obama’s arrival in Hangzhou for the G20 Summit. Following reports of a so-called “diplomatic snub” as Obama appeared not to have been provided with a staircase and red carpet, Hua said on Monday that “China has attached great importance to bilateral ties with the United States, and we welcome President Obama to attend the G20 Summit.” China has spared no effort in looking after leaders attending the event and satisfying the demands of coming delegations including that of the United States, according the spokesperson.

On Sunday, Obama told reporters that the significance of a row between US and Chinese officials on the airport tarmac upon his arrival should not be overblown. “I wouldn’t overcrank the significance” of tensions at the airport, Obama said on Sunday, “part of it is we also have a much bigger footprint than a lot of other countries. We’ve got a lot of planes, a lot of helicopters, a lot of cars, a lot of guys. You know, if you’re a host country, sometimes it may feel a little bit much.”

Americans have been doing similar things for decades in the case of the UN HQ being in the US.
But one can be cold and still maintain protocol.
Main reason: the only superpower in US is still unshakable.

.
Whether the POTUS was humiliated or not but am amazed to see how people, deep in hatred for China, just humiliated the Obama to prove something unproven against China and accusers, from the neighbor, since from first page dragged everything to malign China that too as in habit of on behalf of others.

There is was no humiliation but the reporter was put in the place that she belonged yet out of revenge, has created a bad scenario. President of China and US President would be aware what happened or not so stop accusing.

Haven't you understand? There may not be an agreement on the use of air chair. At least it not appeared before, the realness and necessity is skeptical.Just using an air stair your security officers checked and used by other leader equals to "leave the security of its leader in the hands of foreigners",and that's your conclusion?

OK I have well understand the intellectual quality of Internet American.
dude, he is not american but viet.

Now, I admire President Pinoy even more.
He so spoke the truth about obomo.

What's wrong if PH government wanted security and stability?

Chicago just marked 500th homicide of the year.

If I were Obama (or any other president), I would be careful to visit those areas instead of lecturing others.

In it is small things that the genesis of great changes resides.

The Global empire has ended, frinedns!

Manila is a tiny country...too small to be significant... No disrespect inteded here. Yet this country is the first to announce the end of an era. 500 years of the colonial / imperial era ends. This PH president has unwittingly announced this END.

Circle starts but with so minute a point... yet it emcopmasses the world.

One only hopes that this PH pres. lives long enough to see his country become finally free. After the Spanish came the Monroe Doctrine.. waterboarding was first implemented in PH..for those who are students of history will know.

I would rather see a subtle, nuanced diplomacy...but the PH people have been treated as dirt. This Prs. is only voicing the deep rooted anger. He is standing up for the dignity of his people!

@Götterdämmerung when the Berlin wall came down...we with long hair were there in those East Berlin buildings...with Lada's as flowring pots...there was this 9th from Beethoven in the air..girls so innocent and loving,...guys with long hair and painted cars.. We wanted to create a lovely world!

Do you know we really believed in it! Even without the Space Cakes! My German Friends even today are wishing to see an end to the Global Empire.. We will Play the 9th wiht Grape Joice from Rhine!

I remember that day vividly. I came home and my neighbour came over excitedly and asked me whether I knew the wall came down. Haha, there was still no mobile phone or smartphones and news were slow. I asked what wall? She said, the Berlin Wall. I ran into the living-room and turned on the TV and the joy we all felt and the tear of joy running down our faces ... it was like a fairy tale. We opened bottles of champagne and celebrated the whole night.

Little did we know that the empire of chaos had a different plan ...

Did you know that Beethoven's No. 9 lyric had a different word at the beginning? It was not "Freude (joy), schöner Götterfunken" but "Freiheit (freedom), schöner Götterfunken". He was forced to change that word.

United nation's office should be moved to new country like turkey

It would be easier for International countries to visit middle of a international map then fly long distances , costs too much fuel
The UN headquarters needs to be in a place which is least likely to be taken over by authoritarian rulers.
