Those jokes posted by @Khan_21 were initially quite hilarious but now becoming pretty annoying. I didn't want to get into this dick measuring contest but now just to bring him back to earth, some real facts:

There is not a single global luxury brand store in Lahore, yet Khan_21 would say the Lahore malls are comparable to that in KL or Bangkok. I mean seriously?

I have also checked the lists of hotels in Lahore and surprisingly, this 'great city' doesn't even have a single international five-star chain hotel. Heck, even cities like Addis Ababa, Freetown or Kabul have got one or two but this 'international standard' 'first-world comparable' city Lahore doesn't even have a single. Why is that Khan_21?

I have no idea from where this Khan_21 got the audacity to say Lahore or any Pakistani city for that matter is way ahead than Bangladeshi cities. Chittagong has a circular railway and is set to get the first ever underwater expressway tunnel in South Asia as well as the longest marine drive in the region among other things. And I'm not even mentioning the development projects going in Dhaka.

Only some pics with empty roads doesn't make a city big!

there are more than 10 Pakistani universities in QS top 250 and 7-8 in World top 500 . Why will they go to Bangladesh a country which has universities of lesser repute ?

Hotel business is dependent on business tourism and for that you have to have business activity. Bangladesh being the second largest garments exporter in the world does have plenty of five star hotel properties, mostly in Dhaka, but also in Chittagong.

We were having Mcdonalds and KFC in 1996 in Lahore when Bangladesh didn't even know what they were . We even have a MCDee beside inside a small town meanwhile Dhaka is yet to have one . That should tell you the whole story about brands . If you cant have mcdonalds the most common of them all what else do you expect ?

If you ever go to the West, McDonald's are known as poor man's dining venue.

It's the international chain hotels that counts, Lahore has none while entire Pakistan has very few to mention.

Meanwhile, in Bangladesh at least 12 international chain hotels are already in operation while another dozen under construction.
