Bangladeshis are taking Indians' Jobs : Bengaluru MP Tejasvi Surya

It is clearly mentioned that immigration after independence from Mymensingh aided and abetted by Congress is responsible for the doubling of Muslim population in Dhubri since 1951.

Dude, you need to use natural population growth data for Muslims and Hindus and normalise for this before jumping to conclusions.

Want me to start running mathematics to come to conclusions you will not like?

They are not Indian muslims. They are illegal bangladeshis. Please try keep up.
Even the BD Muslims in Assam are fed up of Ajmal's antics. This general election, we saw Bengali Muslims of Barpeta vote for the INC candidate as the father-son Bangladeshi origin politician duo of AIUDF have done nothing for their people till date.

A news made headlines during elections here, during campaigning Ajmal alighted from his helicopter amongst a herd of Bangladeshi destitutes who can barely manage two square meals a day. Instead of talking about development, he told them that if BJP comes to power they will burn your holy Koran, so vote for us!!

Here is an interesting bit of info @Nilgiri, about Dhubri district that @Homo Sapiens called the most backward district in Assam. Out of the total 80 pc of Muslim population of the district more than three-fourths are Mymensinghias. In Barpeta district across the river they are 50 pc of the population. Wonder why they had to come to the poor Assam instead of their mega rich cities..

They form the vote bank of AIUDF, a party formed to cater to the BD voters. Their leader don't have to try much to garner their support, scare mongering on religious grounds work well.
Bold part: You have been talking this nonsense without knowing the historical background of the Muslim population near Mymensingh. It started with the invasion of Assam by Bakhtiar Khilji in 1205 AD. He lost the war and ran back to Lakkhanabati/Lukhnouti. But, this invasion initiated a process of migration of Bengali Muslims in scarcely populated western Assam.

In between 1205 and 1757, there were tens of war between Bengal and Assam, Bengal and Tripura, Bengal and Arakan, Bengal and Kuchbihar, Bengal and Maratha, Bengal and Delhi. The wars had its consequences. Take the example of war with Maratha that lasted for 10 years (1741-1751) during the time of Alwardy Khan. Marathas killed as many as 400,000 people.

Many people, especially the Muslims, living in the districts of Purulia, Bankura, Medinipur, Jhargram, and Bardhaman crossed Bhagirathi and fled towards eastern Bengal and settled there causing an increase of Muslim population there. The same also happened during the war between Bengal and Mughal Delhi for 30 years (1575-1605). Muslims from the central part of present west Bengal fled to eastern Bengal. These two long wars are the two main reasons that eastern Bengal became a little Muslim majority area that culminated in the fight for "Pakistan Movement".

Similarly, Tripura Rajya under Manikkya Dynasty also saw the migration of people from the nearby areas now in BD. In this case, it is Hindus who migrated. A similar thing happened to Assam. After many wars since 1205, news continuously spread that Assam was almost vacant. So, the Muslims, especially in Mymensingh, would go there during paddy cultivation season, come back and would again go back during harvest time. Subsequently, some of the extended members of a family would settle there permanently. This thing happened continuously for many centuries and this is why you find many bearded Muslims.

Your idiot Modi and you yourself do not know the historical background of the Muslim population migration there and this is why you see many bearded terrorists from Bangladesh in western Assam. You are just imaging things. These beard-holders are the bonafide native Muslim population of Assam.

Bangladeshis mostly do menial jobs in India like pulling rickshaws, house maids, construction labourers which they excel in, and to their credit they offer their services at unimaginably low prices. They will do anything to earn a living in India, and can adapt to the local culture very smoothly.
All Bangladeshis in India are meritorious and educated people. It is a mistake that your idiot Modi is not finding jobs for them in the Indian fat-bellied bureaucracy.

Dhubri, the western-most district of Assam that borders Bangladesh to its south-west, is an overwhelmingly Muslim-majority district. At the turn of the last century, Dhubri was a Hindu-majority area...

Thus, the region’s demography started changing. According to old records, 80 per cent of the population in Dhubri town were Hindus in the early 1920s. By 1951, 40 per cent of the town’s population were Muslims and 60 per cent of the population of the area that forms the present-day Dhubri district were Muslims. As per the 2011 census, Muslims form 80 per cent of the population of the district.
There was no district called Dhubri before 1983. It was part of then Goalpara district. in 1983 and subsequently Goalpara district were divided into 5 new district among which Dhubri, Goalpara, Kokrajhar included. Even in 1941 census, the old greater Goalpara district was 47 percent Muslim. But this 47 percent Muslims were heavily concentrated in it's southern and western part. Mainly at thanas where Dhubri and Goalpara district now formed. If we take as a whole the old greater Goalpara district, then Muslim percentage increased in the last 70 years from 47 percent to 56 percent(calculated from 1941 and 2011 census), which is entirely due to much higher birth rate among Muslim community there.

It is a common deceptive tactic of Assamese nationalists and Hindutva thugs that they conveniently ignore the fragmentation of previous larger districts into smaller districts now and fearmonger about increasing number of Muslim majority districts. In 1941, current border Assam had only 7 district, now those 7 districts fragmented into 33 districts. In this fragmentation, many Muslim dominated areas in those 7 districts now emerged as full fledged district. Among which Dhubri included. Dhubri's population is mostly East Bengal origin. But they settled there 100 years ago. There was much demand from Muslim League to include Muslim majority portion of Goalpara district into East Pakistan. Maulana Bhasani in that time was in Dhubri and he lead a massive movement against the 'Line system' and inclusion of those areas into Eastern Pakistan. But Radcliffe line totally deprived East Pakistan of any Muslim majority Thana from Western Assam. It only gave East Pakistan the Sylhet district minus 3 and half Thana from Eastern Assam. Otherwise Dhubri could have been a district of Bangladesh now instead of Assam.

Wrong!! Though Bakhtiyar Khilji lost the war, the Muslims that came with his troops were treated with leniency by the erstwhile Kamarupa king. Their lives were spared and in time were integrated with our Assamese society.

These khilonjia Muslims are unique in the sense that they participate in our festivals like Bihu and visit our Namghars, marriage into Assamese Hindus families are common. They are known as the Goria muslims in Assam. Similarly, the other indigenous muslims of Assam have their own lineage and history that distinguish them from your Bongals.

The people of Dhubri that i referred to in my posts are the na-asomiyas(new converts) that hailed from your Bangladesh and were either settled into Assam before independence by the British or migrated to Assam post independence.

There is no doubt that Assam has a centuries long history of Islam but we got to differentiate between our Khilonjias and the na-Asomiyas(BD Miyas).

H1B(angladesh) ?

If needed i would welcome visa holder BD electrician, plumber in Bhubaneswar than crappy local guys who are idiot to do a proper customer service here..

Since last few weeks i am in Bhubaneswar...It is so difficult to get a odiya plumber who come on time...Then i got reference of an BD(he is also not legal immigrant in Odisha)guy who is damn on time and completed his work..

@Riyad ...My post is a mark of respect to BD people here...So do not derive any -ve meaning to it...I am supportive of BD people coming here in legal way work here to help both of the people...Our concern and grivences is only for people taking citizenship by illegal means..

Why my points are wrong when you are talking the same as mine? Many other things happened in the historical times that increased the Muslim population in Assam. You have stated an account of history without knowing that people who were captured during Bakhtiar and one another Sultan were allowed to reside, work and marry local women. This group of Muslims looks a little different physically because of inter-mixing with a unique culture that you said. In the beginning, they were allowed to pray Namaaz but were not allowed to call Azaan. I do not know the present situation.

They do not identify themselves with the Bengali Muslims who arrived at a later period from the nearby regions, especially from Mymensingh who were farmers and finally settled in western Assam.

But, these things happened even long before your 4th great grandfathers were born. Why your Modi should identify them as Muslims from BD, which is wrong.

Because you and my good friend @Homo Sapiens are trying to appropriate the history of Dhubri/Goalpara by somehow instigating that the people there were originally from Bangladesh when the truth is quite different.

Goalporia is a dialect of Assamese that happens to bear some resemblance to Bengali as well, they also have different culture compared to the Mymensinghias from Bangladesh. The brand of Islam followed is different too. For us in Assam, it takes a second or two to distinguish the new Mymensinghia immigrants from the indigenous Goalporias or the Gorias.
They do not identify themselves with the Bengali Muslims who arrived at a later period from the nearby regions, especially from Mymensingh who were farmers and finally settled in western Assam.
True, but the point is they continued to come to Assam after independence and the existing ones increased their population to such an extent that the indigenous Goalporias and Gorias felt overwhelmed in their own land. Hence their aversion to these Mymensinghias..

Please, look at the demography from a different angle. Since time immemorial, Assamese and Manipuris tended to follow sexual abstaining as a part of their culture. This is certainly a reason for not bearing many children. Muslim culture encouraged taking multiple wives and widow marriages. It produced many offsprings that caused an increasingly larger Muslim population in Assam. However, I am not sure about the present trend.

Ask your Modi to confirm what I stated instead of blaming Mymensing Muslims to migrate to Assam. But, note one point. No one really takes away another person's job. It is with his two hands that he works hard and earn a living.

Lol, are you for real? Assam is the land of Maa Kamakhya, if you know what i mean! The most important cultural festival of Assam- Rongali Bihu is amongst others a celebration of fertility. The reason for not bearing many children to compete with the Miyas from BD is our owing to our responsibility towards our motherland.

Unfortunately, the trend continues. Tbh, from a personal point of view i am ok with poor coming to India for their livelihood provided they assimilate well and don't dilute our culture. But i am absolutely not ok with the population explosion that is a inevitable by-product of such immigration and the fact that these are involved in all sorts of criminal and anti national activities.

If you look into the population stats of other states like Nagaland, Meghalaya and such you'll find that the rate of growth is higher than the Muslims. The reason being- they started with a low population base and are doing their bit now to increase their numbers so that the Bangladeshi muslims don't seize the opportune moment to settle their and in time outnumber them. In short, don't want to share Assam's fate.

What should I say brother. I decided never to talk about the bogus of illegal Bangladeshi stuffs ( spread by Indians and their policians) to another one from the very beginning. Although I lost control and interfered with another Indian (from Bihar slum) who claimed that the so called illegals are 7/8 koti lol!

একটা কথা আছে না? " পাগলের সুখ মনে মনে, কাগজ ছিঁড়ে ট্যাকা গোনে"? এদের হল সেই অবস্থা! যাক টাকা গুনতেছে গুনুক।

This is the reason I said somewhere that the Rizq is given by Allah, but a Banda has to work hard to earn it. If there are any BD Muslims in India, they must be working hard to earn a living. It is not that he is stealing from someone. These people are certainly contributing to the Indian economy.
